Black couples are an insignificant percentage of adoptive parents...rare
Whites are 80 percent at least and hispanics and orientals the rest
Sadly that family thing doesn’t always work. When my father passed my three surviving brothers and I agreed that we would each contribute to mom’s upkeep, including paying off the car (which one of my brothers would keep because mom didn’t drive). As it turned out, I wound up paying for everything. Admittedly, I was in the best financial shape of any of us (not rich, but making good money) but I would have appreciated it if any of them had contributed anything.

Oh my that is a long story. The church we were going to at the time, Pastor and wife had a toddler foster son. They were going to leave the state and couldn't take the sweet boy with them, so we took out a foster license and took him..ended up adopting him and got into a life long 30 years of caring for children....
They usually are involved in churches and feel a spiritual and moral obligation like many white foster parents do!!
Look at those happy faces! Bless this couple for helping these children
