It’s clearly not in the interest of the DOJ to admit they were working undercover to get Clinton elected, while essentially planting evidence on Trump to get him busted instead. They will never come clean, on their own, the only option is an independent special counsel led by someone like Tom Fitton, which would be perfectly legal and correct. Sessions will never appoint that special counsel, so ultimately will have to be removed.

A friend of mine is a realtor and knows former Senator Bill Nelson who told her he knows Jeff Sessions well and thought he wasn’t a racist and that he wasn’t up to being Attorney General.
At this point I’d have to agree with him.

The FBI is basically OK, lots of fine people working there. The problem is clearly that the management was weaponized by Obama, Holder, Lynch, et al and used for political purposes. That will be dealt with after the IG report comes out. That’s the IG’s job - to investigate allegations of wrongdoing by FBI/DOJ employees. Just have some patience.
What’s changed that you KNOW of? Ignoring of course the idiot choir of FReepers who recite silly memes but have no knowledge or evidence to back up any of them.
People who know Sessions have said he maintains such tight security and discipline that his targets never suspect they are being investigated until he lowers the boom on them.
If you were to write a job description for Attorney General, I am certain you would describe AG Sessions approach to the job nearly perfectly. Blathering to the media is absolutely the last thing you would want an AG to be doing, yet it seems to be exactly what the impatient children all are expecting. Sorry kids, we have a professional AG in charge now, not a political swamp rat.

Sounds very lawyerly. So he may share the view that the FBI is functioning at a low level in most of the country, just not absolutely all of it. Or may he thinks the FBI is firing on all cylinders. We just don’t know. He didn’t say.
