Hi,
I am a longtime FReeper and just needed to talk to someone. I will not post and run, but I must say, I am just getting into bed. I had to go to the hospital because I slipped on our hardwood stairs, and my head hit the wall.
I had a headache that would not quit, no matter how much ice I put on it. I even took a half of a tramadol that I got a couple of years after I fell on the ice in our rural Canadian driveway; nothing helped.
The hospital told me that the wait would be about three hours, so I told my husband to go home and get some sleep; by this time, it was the early morning. "I'll get a taxi," I told him.
Anyway, I called a cab and the guy asked me to sit in the front. He stopped on a sidestreet and started to kiss me, tongue and all. I had no idea where I was. He unzipped his pants and made me touch, well, you know. Then (I was wearing a dress) he put his hand into my underwear and inserted his filthy fingers into me.
I made him drop me off about a half of a kilometer from where I live; don't want him to know where my 18 year-old daughter or I live.
Anyway, I called the police; spend a lot of time writing out a statement and even had to give my clothes to them (my favorite dress! LOL!)
I walked through the snow in a pair of sandals, once I saw his taillights disappear. I walked into the house sobbing; my husband asked what was wrong. I wasn't sure if I should call the police, but my husband said, wouldn't you want to call if it were our daughter?
Anyway, I feel like I want to vomit. The police told me to go to the hospital to get checked out. I could not even hug my husband, I felt so dirty. At least I brushed my teeth and had a buttload :) of mouthwash.
I just wonder if he could have given me a disease with his taxi hands.
So either my husband or a good friend of mine will bring me to the hospital to get checked out; for what, I don't know. I just feel violated and dirty. He kept looking for parking spots on side streets and I was very scared.
Has anything like this happened to any of you? Thank G*d I wasn't raped, but I was afraid of that.

1. I did not attack her. I suggested this is a police matter, which it is.
2. After re-reading her post, I made a second comment where I said “sorry, I see you did go to the police”.
3. I made a further suggestion of taking self-defense classes for her own protection in the future .
You on the other hand appear to like to get you licks in without forgiveness. I’d call that unchristian.

There is no disease called or transmitted by taxi hands.
However, it sounds like you were raped. Keep on the police and hire an attorney to make sure the police are doing everything they can.
The taxi should have a record of the dispatched call, the name of the driver and in most cases all his GPS coordinates and times. Many cabs also have cameras that take pictures periodically during a passenger trip.
Have both the police, the DA, and your own attorney request all the above documentation.
What he did was not much different the rape. I hope you will get over the trauma and I hope he finds real trauma of his own.
Just hope he wasn’t a Democrat otherwise only Republicans will care.

Please make it your mission to have this cab driver put away for a long time. It’s very likely he has done this type of thing before and will do it again.

Thank you for at least acknowledging my attempt at redemption from my first post. I really want to make sure this Freeper gets the help she needs and it starts with the arrest of this rapist by the police. The earlier and faster it is reported, the better the chance of arresting him.

Hi honey. I am so very, very sorry this happened to you. First, NONE of this is your fault. NONE. Secondly, keep in your direct mind that you have survived this. You are alive, breathing and still a loving wife and mother. Please find a rape crisis center and call them. The people there are trained to assist you with your emotions. However, (and this is just a slight issue that I have with them), they always try to give you back the “power” and sometimes that isn’t helpful in law enforcement matters. They may tell you that prosecution is totally your call.. and it is. However, having power and acting upon fear/shame/guilt/any negative emotion may feel “right” at the time but not the correct decision.
What I would do or consider is this: you have the opportunity right now to procede with the police and getting this beast charged so that he won’t do it again. If he feels that he “got away with it”, the next young girl/woman may not be so lucky. I also agree with the Freeper to contact an attorney. I have the very strong suspicion that this isn’t his first time and the cab company has a responsibility to its customers.
Again, I am sorry this happened to you and will pray for you, hon. Don’t shut out your husband... just stay open in communication with him. Tell him that hugging right now makes you ill... he will understand. God Bless... (((Hugs))) Mom

You WERE raped. This POS needs to go to prison (or the morgue). If it was a legitimate taxi, there will be a record from the dispatcher, and the police should be able to pick him up quickly.
None of this is your fault. You were the victim of an assault, nothing less. Please work with the authorities to put this trash away where he can’t harm others.
And God be with you as you heal from this.
Take inventory.
Your gut instincts have died. When he asked you to sit in front, you should have backed away and called another cab. What is wrong with people? Always wanting to “be nice”.
Then when he started his assault you get the hell out of the cab and scream your head off, running opposite the way the cab is headed.
This is just terrible news.
Prayers for you and your family. That you may be released from your grief and anguish and your attacker may be caught quickly and prevented from making further assults on innocent victims.

Sorry for the horrible experience you endured. Going to the police was the correct decision.
Another Freeper has suggested that you take self protection courses. Even without such training, that scumbag was most vulnerable when he had his hands on you. My first suggestion would have been to stick two of your fingers DIRECTLY (with force) into his eyes, you would then have ample opportunity to escape. 100% effective self defense.
Hospital should also have camera footage outside.
Go after the perp until he is safely locked away ... or dead. You did nothing wrong and your prosecution of him will protect others from suffering the same ordeal, or worse.

In addition to the many good suggestions, get checked for a concussion.
This can be very serious.
