Which reminds me of this ancient piece of wisdom: “People who live in clear bubble tents shouldn’t f***”.

It’d be the most amazing trip the neighboring camps have too especially when they post youtubes of you and partner making whoopee for all to see or bent over looking for your undies.
A better option would be non see through 3/4ths of the way up.

While my tent would be, most definitely, discretely curtained, I fear that society has changed and that I would be best off staying in at night in most such resorts. But is it really that different than the joy of window watching in big city high rises?

If only I had a clear tent that early September morning in Jasper Park Canada many years ago I could have watched the black bear cub jump on the tent right over my head as mama bear raided the nearby garbage container...

Watched too many teen slasher movies, huh?
We woke up once with a herd of deer snoozing around out tents. Neat experience but I’d rather wake up in my comfy bed at home and use my indoor potty.

I haven’t opened the bedroom “window with a view” in decades. Too many people these days like to look in. Years ago, when people knew it wasn’t nice to peep and they had sense enough to be in their own homes at night, we could keep it open.

Actually, prone to nightmares as a child so only started watching things like CSI and Criminal Minds as an adult. And I do occasionally get nightmares from those. Think I’ve never actually seen ANY slasher movies. I walked out of Gone with the Wind when they shot the pony. I was traumatized by Bambi. When I wrote movie scripts, they were romantic comedies and I turned down one agent because he wanted to turn my vampire comedy dark.
I sleep next to the window in the library and the window is set up so that I can open it and pile food on the platform and a lower table for the wild animals. I’ll sometimes open my eyes and see a raccoon on the platform staring at me. Only once had a deer in the backyard. Very exciting.

Glass igloos look nice when they’re new, but wait until you have the wash the windows.

Teen wakes to crunching noise as bear drags him out of campsite by head
Mary Bowerman, USA TODAY
July 10, 2017
A teen camp staffer fought off a bear early Sunday after the animal tried to drag him from a Colorado campsite where he was sleeping outside.
The teen, identified only as Dylan, was in his sleeping bag when he heard a crunching noise around 4 a.m. Sunday, and woke to find the bear biting his head and dragging him away, KMGH-TV reported.
The crunching noise, I guess, was the teeth scraping against the skull as it dug in, Dylan told KMGH-TV. ...
