Colin Kaepernick and the NFL's Problematic Treatment of Black Quarterbacks
Rolling Stone ^ | November 16, 2017 | Kenneth Arthur

While much of the focus on the NFL this season has been on the African-American quarterback who is not in the league, it is also important to give attention to the ones who are. As much as Colin Kaepernick deserves to be on a team based on his talent, we can safely say that if he's been blacklisted from the NFL it is not because he is black. And we can assume this because many of the players who are in the league instead of him – in spite of being worse at football – are also black.

Social Justice Warriors (SJWs) always looking for something to complain about. It is always 1960 to these people. Using Tyrod Taylor as an example of how the NFL is somehow racist is ridiculous. The guy is a middling QB who lost his starting job. The article fails to mention Cam Newton is earning $20 MM and Russell Wilson is close to $19 MM.

Let Black Lives Matter take over the NFL. It will no longer exist within ten years.

Let’s start a betting pool on whether or not the NFL or the Rolling Stone(d) will die first.

Both are doomed, and both are populated by folks with the same ...er...intelligence.

The only question that has to be answered yes is: Can this player help us win? Clearly when it comes to Colin, the answer is no because if the answer was yes, he would be playing.

NFL owners are mostly billionaire businessmen who want to make a profit and have the most-winning team to massage their egos. If CK had the potential to bring them to the SuperBowl, there’d be a bidding war to sign him.

Black QB’s are allowed to remain on rosters for years, no matter how terrible they are. The NFL is social engineering. Rush was right. It cannot die soon enough.

It’s been said that pro sports are the best method of emasculating the White male.

There’s more. Hey Mr. Vick, do you still harvest dogs? Any NFL owner(white) has to take that into consideration. Russell wilson is the exception.

I’m not much of a sports guy, and I haven’t actually seen the baseball movie “Moneyball” but I think the concept there was that looking for “superstars” was a bad idea. Looking for people who “look like ballplayers” was a bad idea.

Instead, they pushed a mathematical approach that tilted the odds to get the team what it needed in order to win. Throws, catches, yards gained, sacks, etc. If the numbers are there, you will win more games. Based on that kind of thinking, you must be willing to get rid of any player at any time, if they aren’t likely to give you the specific type of numbers that your team needs to win.

Given this sort of modern knowledge of sports (Moneyball is baseball, but I bet the football coaches know this stuff) then it is inconceivable that anyone would choose players based on skin color. Racism in professional sports? Not a chance. If you have what they want, you play. If you aren’t playing, then you don’t have what they want.

It’s why heavyweight boxing is no longer promoted in the mainstream media. The narrative cannot have that being shown.

How many starting quarterbacks have a worse record than 2-14 loser Colin K? Only one team - Cleveland Browns, with a group effort from an array of injured, old, and inept quarterbacks contributing to their 1-15 year. Colin K is the League's biggest loser, which is why he is unemployed (that and his political conduct on the field driving fans away in large numbers).

Despite the 49ers surgically removing the original infection, Colin cancer has spread throughout the NFL, and the disease is terminal.

Nfl needs to just ban the forward pass and the quarterback position will be set for racial diversity

A lot of college quarterbacks can survive and excel because of their athletic ability. The less athletic college QBs have to be better at the mental part of the game (reads, adjustments, decisions).

At the pro level, the mental part is more important. Running through and away from the defense is not an option pro QBs can use often without getting hurt.

That may be a factor in the success of black QBs in college vs pros. Or maybe not. But I can’t imagine an owner or coach passing on the best QB available because of color. And even the most racist fans I’ve seen care about the win and not about the player color.

2 things ...

1st. Why don’t the SJW Knee-groes take knee whenever they hear rap music to protest the use of the “N”word plus the words bitches and hoes, wife/girlfriend beating, fatherless black families and black-on-black crime? In other words, demonstrate against problems in black communities where the players are really idolized and they can be real role models.

Yeah, right. Too easy to protest cops and country than try to do something uplifting to communities.

2nd. Why do blacks refer to themselves as African-American? Why identify yourself with an entire continent comprised of 3rd World Hell-holes? An entire continent of losers.

...Colin Kaepernick deserves to be on a team based on his talent...

Talent for what?

Kneegoer?

Yeah, he's good at that...unfortunately it ain't a viable career path.

And even less of one when one sports a blown-out 'fro and a jihadi beard and allows his mooslimb girlfriend to "negotiate" for him.

He's done, stick a fork in him...and this stink bomb of a magazine, too.

Let’s give them what they want. African Americans are 8% of the population, they should be 8% of the quarterbacks and 8% of the defensive backs etc.

Why not do what corporate America is doing and make the NFL have 50% of the quarterbacks be women?

Let’s go further, 50% of the elementary school teachers should now have to be men.
