Lamborghini has created the world's first self-healing sports car. The Terzo Millennio, which translates as third millennium in Italian, has the ability to detect and repair cracks in its body work.

Using sensors the car can conduct its own health check to detect any damages and self-repair itself by filling the crack with nanotubes to prevent it spreading.

I’m completely serious, yes.

Drones will get hit, and then repair themseveles, somewhat.

Enough to continue the mission.

It looks like it has about 2 inches of ground clearance. I hope the self-healing feature takes care of pothole damage.

If only Toyota had this on my 16 Tacoma that got stabbed in a parking lot last Sunday.......

My best guess it was at Lowes.

A fair dent and a small rectangular slit.

That is brilliant research. Extremely exciting.

In the old days I worked on a lot of computer research government projects and it always amazes me when the research turns to real possibilities.

My deepest sympathies. You hope that there is a personal pothole for someone who hits and runs like that.

Obviously no good in snow.........BUT

No telling who. I didn’t notice until a couple of days later.

I’ve been in the moving game in earnest since last Saturday. With the big move on Monday, it will be sometime next week before I can try some kind of pop and patch.

Simon Cowell drives one, right? Hey I haven’t seen one or I’d be converted, too. The Chiron is sweeet. I forgive you for cheating on me with that beauty.

Pot-hole damage repair would be a necessity here in Indiana. I can’t imagine I-65 in that thing. Better be a quick healer.

Nice, but can it withstand a drunken sports figure driving it into a ditch at max speed?

I want a car that can fix supermarket dings without calling the insurance company.

I want one that can prevent, or at least punish, door dings.
