Nothing’s free. If you’re not paying for it, someone else is.
I have the cheapest plan availa - a bronze plan in Maine - the premium is going from $667 a month to $888 a month.
Thanks, Obama and Susan Collins!
True. On the other hand, how much does it actually cost to do?
Some perspective:

It is crazy. Back in the day the companies provided health care and for some reason 30 years ago, they decided to drop it and have people fend for themselves. That is when something should have happened. I can’t see how companies can drop pensions AND health care and save all that money......what are they doing with the boon in savings? That is a question that is NEVER answered.
I’m sure all insurance premiums will go up. Is there anyone that can hold them down? The insurances companies, I mean.
The premium only went up from $500-something to $600-something for a family of 4? And he is complaining?
My wife’s premium went up to $1,200-something a month with a $7,500 deductible. That’s only for my wife, not a family of 4.

I feel for you.
What company?
You have no understanding of how business works, how to run a business and why businesses exist. If you did you would not ask a stupid question like that.
Well when we are required to buy it they have us over a barrel.
Were we allowed to walk away they compete for our business.
How did they run in 1950’s genius. Obviously they were thriving during that time and everyone was making huge money. So it can be done. I run a business and trust me, the taxes are high, but not paying for medical and pensions saves me a ton of money that is a fact.
“How did they run in 1950s genius”
You really don’t know, do you?
“I run a business and trust me, the taxes are high, but not paying for medical and pensions saves me a ton of money that is a fact.”
Ok, so stop being “greedy” and pay for medical and pension in your business that you “run” like businesses did in the 50s and see if you can stay in business.
To you, except for your own business, apparently, companies exist to provide their employees medical benefits and pensions.
Yes I know that but something needs to be done.
