Whatever happened to Jesus Campos?
He interrupted the shooter and took a bullet in his leg for his pains.
He's a hero.
He should be on every commentary show in the country by now, especially if he's not in the country legally, he'd be the absolute darling of the media.
Not a peep.
Nothing about his medical treatment.
Nothing about any questioning the authorities have done.
No stories of his childhood.
No I knew him when.
Nothing from any friends and neighbors.
No co-workers talking about what a great guy he is...
Maybe he’s illegal.
They probably have him in protective custody in preparation for the ticker tape parade.
It’s almost like there’s an on going investigation and for some reason he’s not doing a ton of interviews. Hmm. Weird.
And maybe he just chooses not to be.
Not everybody is a fame seeker.
As he is an employee of MGM Resorts, he too is bound by the memo delivered to all employees. They were instructed not to talk to the media, or to discuss MGM and/or Mandalay Bay with anyone. I know, my sister has worked there since teh day it opened.
There is the huge legal issues forever connected with this and I’m sure the lawyers are working hard to clamp down on any hearsay.
OK, I’ll buy that.

Reasonable, he can’t talk to the media. That doesn’t mean the media can’t talk about him, nor does it mean they can’t talk to his neighbors or family.

If he was illegal the MSM would prop him on a float like the king of Mardi Gras and parade him through the city.
Unless the FBI doesn’t want him out there.
I’m betting Campos has been told not to give interviews by the FBI while they are coming up with a plausible account of exactly what happened in Vegas.

Campos needs to be thoroughly investigated by private non-government skilled investigators, of which there are several, perhaps many, in the ranks of Free Republic participants. Campos just may turn out to be the one who set the thing up and disposed of the main shooter who thought he was going to escape. A government investigation will not be released to the public, or at least the true findings will not be released, and may be already in the files.

Interesting comment. I was on the board of directors for a non profit until recently. At events the photographer from the “social” magazine that is a monthly would take candid photos. He was always surprised, as were others, that I had no interest in being photographed.
I think some people thought I was hiding a criminal background because nowadays EVERYONE seems to want attention.
My grandmother believed your name should be in the paper 3 times: when you were born, got married, & died. ; )

Oh yeah, he gets shot in the leg by the perp through a door, tells the cops which room to go to, to stop the perp, and he’s complicit you say, or may be the one who set it all up. By the way, the perp had no idea who it was he was shooting through that door, did he. Sitting there wiith your tin foil hat on, are you?
