He was entertaining. As I recall, he was pretty quick with the one liners.In a typical exchange between Tony Schiavone and Bobby Heenan, Schiavone was talking up the virtues of Ron Simmons during a match involving Simmons:
SCHIAVONE: "Outside of the ring, Ron Simmons devotes a lot of time to community service."
HEENAN: "How many hours does he have to do?"

I remember when Bruno Sammartino won the champoinship belt. Shows how old I am :) The wrestlers back then were better at making it LOOK real.
