THAT HR manager should have been fired. HR people are not supposed to share info with other employees...

He was mentioned in the Peter Hitchens column that was linked. He’s a new show which Peter Hitchens was using to make a point. There was a picture. He’s looking good.

I’d like to hope James Woods would not have been interested in a 16 year old girl 5 years ago. I wish the quick quip she attributes to him didn’t sound exactly like something he would say. I love James Woods but he does prefer much younger women and I’m hoping he was being flippant at the time, maybe intoxicated, not serious, or she is not telling the truth.

However, different subject: here is the hypocrisy of Hollywood women. She goes to complain of boorish behavior by her fellow industry people, yet she jumps at the chance to portray sex and violence EVERY DAY in her business. As long as it’s for big money, boorishness or worse is GOOD. You can’t have it both ways. Hollywood couldn’t constantly provide T&A entertainment if women refused to play the parts.

Also, Hillary Clinton DESTROYS women who get in her way. She took down a child rape victim and laughed about it. She uses women for sex but any woman daring to tell the truth about her will be met with cruelty. Yet this stupid actress wants to join a commune with her? Willful stupidity.

The company had been set up in the 50’s by a nasty, sexually abusive, alcoholic. As near as I could determine from corporate lore or direct observation, the directors hired from that point forward were sexual predator alcoholics. All the top offices had wet bars and lower level, older employees still had a bottle and glass in their file cabinet or their bottom drawer. The company was called EMR, which the employees said stood for Extra-Marital Relations. And, in thirty-plus years I have never witnessed anything to compare with what went on there. The HR dyke was the only “woman” in top management. She was, in many ways, much worse than the men in her peer group.

One problem with hiring a gay person is they tend to carry on their agenda much more so than non-gay candidates. You might have, say, a conservative but never realize he’s a conservative, or, a devout Christian, who does not proselytize at work. But my experience with liberals, of which gays are a subset, is that they ARE the agenda. You simply can’t get away from it as they will use every bit of their corporate power to MAKE you see the universe their way.

Lots of lessons to be learned from that sad experience. One of which is, be wary of women with children, be careful about getting involved with them.

I’ve heard that stepchildren are very hard to contend with.

We know how it goes. They resist any discipline because you are not their “real” parent.

That was actually one of my criteria to get involved, after my wife had passed away. I avoided women with children still at home. Too many issues, in my opinion, that I wanted to steer clear of.

If you read the whole essay, the little idiot undercuts her entire message by admitting that what she fantasizes about is a commune run by Hillary, where Tom Hardy is a sex horse she can share with her friends. In other words, she’s not upset about sexual objectification, she’s upset when it’s done to women, instead of women doing it to men. If James Woods came on to her, he’s guilty mostly of not being Tom Hardy. And I suppose Tom Hardy is guilty of not being a horse she and her friends can control completely.

I did read the whole thing. I was hoping it was a woman standing up to the objectification of women working in Hollywood, but it was not. And the accusation against James Woods was upsetting because she had told him she was 16. I am hoping she is lying.

You were smart. Same thing as me, from the other side. With small kids, I won’t be marrying and living with a man, won’t do that to them. It is a bad relationship.

She said it almost 20 years ago. I don’t believe that just because you are a Trump supporter means you are perfect. He could have been a predator back in the day. Hollywood is a cess pool full of all types of people.

Too often, they are questioned mercilessly about whether their side is legitimate.

Yes, that's how justice works - we don't automatically take the word of a woman and immediately jail whoever she accuses. People lie - and that includes women. Maybe the man she accuses did what she said, maybe he didn't. She's asking the rest of us to punish the man she accuses, so we will need to actually try to ascertain the facts and then make a decision. It may not always turn out right, but it's a better process than mindlessly accepting the word of every accuser.

During the election a sooty in Premiere magazine came out with three women detailing how Arnold was hands on and aggressive about sex with them on the set of one of his movies. We loved him and voted for him anyway.

Three women is a preponderance for my money.

“I avoided women with children still at home. Too many issues, in my opinion, that I wanted to steer clear of.”

At every point in my life I refused to date men with children, at home or otherwise. Same reason: Too many issues. Even if they’re grown and it might seem like smooth sailing at the moment, that can change in a day’s time. (I guess I might be a terrible person, but life is hard enough without borrowiing trouble.)

Yes I see your point. There just seems like so much potential for trouble.

I feel that step parents are in a no win position. You may have certain responsibilities, and want to take those on. Yet you don’t have the authority so to speak; step children may not see you as an authority figure. Your wife or husband may not agree with your manner of discipline, and you could be fighting with both the kids and your spouse.

Well, I thought it was worth avoiding all of those potential problems.
