Seattle Seahawks star Michael Bennett joined other NFL athletes on Sunday in protesting the treatment of minorities by US law enforcement during season-opening weekend. Michael sat on a bench as The Star-Spangled Banner played before the Seahawks' opener against the Green Bay Packers, while teammate Justin Britt put a hand on his shoulder.

And the NFL just sits by and watches. Sears did the same sort of thing. Leadership is often tone deaf

Also TEN teammates gathered around to support Eric Reid, the 49ers’ latest malcontent, as he knelt during the Anthem. Meanwhile, Levi’s Stadium was barely half full to see the Panthers thoroughly kick the 49ers’ asses yesterday. Maybe the Niners would be better served by learning the playbook rather than disrespecting America.

F*** the NFL.

Yes, that seals the deal. No NFL football watching this season. None. These miserable millionaires can go to hell.

Fire him outright.

The National Football League has nothing to say about its players destroying their organization that that they founded in 1920?

I guess they are tired of making money and playing football.

Not one of these jerks has never been anywhere slavery from 175 years ago. Millionaires who will never have to worry about anything other than their bad attitudes. I am disgusted with their “Black Power Salute”. Who creates 90% of all crime? Are the owners now afraid of these idiots? My great grandmother was a slave! An indentured servant from Belgium. WTF. I have never owned a slave, but I guess I am a racist because I hate seeing these BLM jerks put on their show.

I wonder if the owners even care about American audiences. I think they figure on overseas expansion but one would think that would have to be fueled with some $$ from the good old US of A! Plus, I would think they would need some overseas investment and how do you ask for moola with no audience to show for return on your investment?

I didn't watch the NFL last season and plan to do the same this year. I have very little time for TV watching during the week so what I watch over the weekend is saved for the good stuff.....binge watching BritBox or Netflix

I have kissed most all sports good bye. I used to watch everything that came on the TV. My TV was set to sports channels. Women’s ping pong, whatever, I watched. NO MORE!!! I simply, I guess, grew up and saw that there were many more important things in this world than spending 10 hours on Saturday and Sunday glued to a TV watching sports. About the only thing I watch anymore is soccer. That is mostly on Sat or Sun morning for the EURO soccer leagues, maybe some MLS. Great thing about it, is if I want to do something else, I just go do it and miss a silly soccer game. I cannot remember the last time I watched a football or baseball game all the way through. I grew up an Alabama fan, loved Coach Bryant. Saban is a great coach, but I don’t like him. He is just like his pal that coaches NE Patroits, Bill Bull-full-of it. Don’t like him either. Saban wins, but I do not like his punk attitudes. All these young Bama fans worship him. He could not carry Coach Bryant’s jock strap. Just my opinion. But, now, at my age, with my years slipping away, I find that there is more to life. I am using my last years doing something worth doing, not watching sports, especially with punks like this punk. they whine about what America is. America ain’t perfect, but I served in some countries and areas that this punk would cry over. He just should be glad he does have a choice to play football or be a worker for some third world dictator. He should be glad he can do what he does and get paid millions to do it. Screw him.

These people aren’t too bright. They’re basically working against their bosses and offending most of their fans. Then when they no longer are picked up, they’ll cry about it and blame the same people they sabotaged. They sure haven’t thought this through.

I don’t watch, so I can’t stop, but it seems to me if one of these boneheads sat and showed such disrespect the coach should have made him sit there the whole game.

And I am noticing that America, the Beautiful, has started replacing the National Anthem at some sporting events. The women’s final at the US Open? I don’t care that both women were minorities, the National Anthem is the National Anthem. And just an aside, we saw Logan Lucky yesterday at the movies. I noticed that America, the Beautiful, was played at the Charlotte Motor Speedway, before the event in the movie. I wonder if this is the case, even with NASCAR.

The Comish is left wing jerk so this won’t be stopped. He threatened Texas with sanctions if they passed the dudes in girls bathrooms bill. He’s about to sign a 7 year extension.

Dare I say it, I hope they both get their asses kicked on the field. I won't be tuning in to see it, though.

I, like many others I know will not watch/are not watching ANY NFL games this year, or the next if necessary should the stupidity continue. Nor will I support any of their sponsors. Until we “Deplorables” realize this is a direct slap in the face of our country and it’s symbol, none of the overpaid A holes deserve MY respect. I could care less if the NFL goes completely broke. Yes, I am angry.

It's too late to fire anybody over this. The time to have acted was when it was only Kaepernick. Even then, I don't think it would have solved anything. If they had fired Kaepernick, you'd have all the black players and some SJW white players (like Aaron Rodgers) kneeling in support. The way to have stopped it was to have never let it happen. The NFL has simply reached a point in which it is over-staffed with BLM types who are not deep thinkers.

I stopped watching NFL games last season, and am continuing the tradition this year, probably in perpetuity.
