I have kissed most all sports good bye. I used to watch everything that came on the TV. My TV was set to sports channels. Women’s ping pong, whatever, I watched. NO MORE!!! I simply, I guess, grew up and saw that there were many more important things in this world than spending 10 hours on Saturday and Sunday glued to a TV watching sports. About the only thing I watch anymore is soccer. That is mostly on Sat or Sun morning for the EURO soccer leagues, maybe some MLS. Great thing about it, is if I want to do something else, I just go do it and miss a silly soccer game. I cannot remember the last time I watched a football or baseball game all the way through. I grew up an Alabama fan, loved Coach Bryant. Saban is a great coach, but I don’t like him. He is just like his pal that coaches NE Patroits, Bill Bull-full-of it. Don’t like him either. Saban wins, but I do not like his punk attitudes. All these young Bama fans worship him. He could not carry Coach Bryant’s jock strap. Just my opinion. But, now, at my age, with my years slipping away, I find that there is more to life. I am using my last years doing something worth doing, not watching sports, especially with punks like this punk. they whine about what America is. America ain’t perfect, but I served in some countries and areas that this punk would cry over. He just should be glad he does have a choice to play football or be a worker for some third world dictator. He should be glad he can do what he does and get paid millions to do it. Screw him.

I still watch hockey/the NHL

Beyond my interest in the sport - There is no ghetto/rap/thug culture in the league. If there are childish leftists among the players, you wouldn’t know - they STFU.

If they guys have ugly tattoos, you can’t see them under their jerseys. They will have fights, but then usually the two men involved will shake hands or give each other a pat afterwards. Attending games is family friendly. No drunkenness at games I’ve attended. A game is usually over in 2 hours. You aren’t there for 5 hours, sitting through 10 minute TV time-outs.

Its the one sport I watch now.
