My neighborhood flooded and I helped an old lady to a Blackhawk helicopter, as the intervening culvert was flooded and she was short.
That was the extent of my heroics.
They landed at 3511 Linkwood Dr, Houston, TX 77025. The entire area but my street flooded.
I saw an abandoned fire truck.
This is America, the strong stand guard so the weak my live in freedom.
I guess they let the poc die?

Our church will collect for Samaritans Purse again this Sunday.
The impression that Texas is putting on the rest of the nation is...well, it’s very impressive and sets an example of American endurance.
Yeah, it is just about doing what has to be done but, just seeing something that binds the nation together is comforting to the rest of us who are able to just tune in or out of the disaster at will.
Texas leads.
I am thankful God put me in Texas. People are good here.
If anyone can spare a prayer, Saint Thomas Episcopal School was fully inundated. It is my child’s school.
My wife communicates with people. I don’t. She informs me just now that I will be spending this weekend helping oldsters from St. Thomas in mucking out their damaged homes.
It breaks my heart. The people waiting for the helicopters in my neighborhood were seriously messed up and traumatized. One lady couldn’t even talk.

No kidding. Next to a fire loss, losing out to a flood is the most terrible property loss to suffer through.
Raise your hand if you saw a picture or video of just one pajama boy looking person helping anyone. Just one. Nope, didn’t think so.
It’s annoying watching camera crews on the helicopters taking up valuable space that should be used for victims.
Metrosexual pajama boys need him too.
