I would have liked to have seen this theory tested a bit more, frankly.
Why the folks in the park listened to the police or paid any attention to the barriers they erected to keep them from escaping is beyond me.
One congressman was immediately calling on Justice to open an investigation on the role of McCauliff and the C-ville mayor in instigating chaos. Witnesses abound. McCauliff was caught on LIVE TV lying about a “cache of weapons found”, which the Chief of Police immediately dismissed as “never happened”.
I have to think Sessions beginning an inquiry will be all willing to do so, but that we may hear nothing of it until election time. That seems to be the calendar date around which these investigations are conveniently released.
But Snopes “Fact Check” says it’s not true, so it must not be.
