It would be ironic if a very elderly Kirk ended up on some futuristic retirement home

Is Brannon Braga one of the gay ones?

I seem to recall Start Trek becoming very PC and twinkified when he became involved...

Nope. Jeri Ryan left her husband for Braga.

It's good to be the producer.

The crisis plagued new “franchise” startrek is all pc all the time with “alternative deathstyle” humans pushing an alt-left propaganda screech.

essentially star trek is dead. The PC is for the sucker investors not to attract viewers.

(see how dr who has jumped the shark into death with tax payer funding PC garbage)

“The Orville” looks like a pretty funny spoof of Star Trek

It's following the route blazed by Tim Allen's "Galaxy Quest."

Since "Orville" stars Seth McFarlane, it is likely going to be a bunch of extreme liberal nastiness and political correctness masquerading as "entertainment."

Galaxy Quest is high up on our favorite films list. They are classified by how many lines have been memorized ;)

You kidding? Kirk, as even an old horndog, would retired to Risa and never leave.
