Yes, McConnell and Ryan cannot deliver with their Republican majorities and should resign or be replaced. Trump should use his bully pulpit as president and leader of the party to demand they go.

I am far less concerned about McConnell than Ryan.

There’s no conservative who can pull strings with Ryan where needed, but there is one who has massive leverage over McConnell.

I’m fine with tolerating the turtle for now.

Assume Sen. McConnell and Rep. Ryan are removed from their positions by extraordinary Senate and House procedures. Whom do you expect to replace those two, and what, specifically, do you anticipate they will do to pass what specific legislation?

As we discussed this morning, you have to add McMaster to this urgent “To do” list.

When a Democrat leader of either the House & Senate issues an edict on how will Senators vote on issue, every Democrat falls into line.

And they did, see John McCain

Biggest failure of leadership I’ve ever seen. McConnell and Ryan both deserve immediate removal.

Speaker of the House does not have to be a current member of Congress. Appoint Newt.

F U Mitch McConnell and your “long game” epic fail.

I don’t know about Mitch, but Ryan is completely secure as his congressional district loves him. As Speaker? You need to ask every Republican in the House save one who voted him into that job.

What’s the point in engaging in these fantasies that you know have zero probability of happening? Just like to hear people say “Yeah, he’s gotta go!”?

McConnell needs to exercise his power. Murkowski should be put on some other committee as a Jr member and her chairmanship should be given to the other republican senator, the same with Collins give it to someone else. There needs to be consequences. God is taking care of the McCain problem

...McConnell & Ryan.

Unfortunately the President can't fire them.

McLoser must be fired first

Elected officials require their electors to dump them.

Trump needs to get rid of obozo holdovers and anyone who supports them

What I hope no one missed is that Trump’s rally in Youngstown Ohio was grand theater, showing those two clowns that he has very strong popular support exactly because the deep state is so rabid in undermining the common good.

On this issue alone, I don’t see why Ryan is being blamed. It passed in the house. On other reasons yes get rid of Ryan.

Neither of them will, or should, go.

The constituencies that elected both are solid and that's the way American politics works.

Forget about the "Republicans" east of the Hudson river, as well. Their seats aren't going anywhere except to Democrats, but they caucus with Republicans, which means while their votes aren't reliable, the Congressional committees, where things actually get done are run by us.

That is NOT nothing, although too many FReepers think it is.

The people who need to go are those in red Republican districts/states who are not Republicans. Jeff Flake, John McCain (a problem soon remedied by God, but his seat must not go to someone like him.) Murkowski, Cochran, Graham, Hatch, Corker, Cornyn, Portman, Capito.

There is absolutely NO reason why any of these people should be serving in the US Senate as Republicans. Unlike the Maine Ladies, they have no excuse for their behavior and voting record, and although McCain is taking the heat, the truth is that any ONE of them could have been the 51st Demonrat vote, and would have been that vote if the disposable Senator from AZ had already died; he was their cover, that's all.

HIGHEST Priority: 0bama holdovers in the Executive Department, and those -- like McMaster -- protecting them. We would be better served by empty desks than keeping these people. Trump needs to FIRE McMaster NOW, and he needs to call his other cabinet level people in and read them the riot act: 0bama appointees that CAN be fired MUST be fired, and Bushbots need to be subject to extreme vetting. If they're clearly conservative, fine, but the most egregious of them also need to be fired NOW, and a good number of them should be shipped off to harmless rubber room jobs where they can't backstab conservatives.

McCabe at FBI needs to be put on leave until the IG report examing his behavior/conflicts is concluded, and following the IG report, he needs to be fired.

Fantasies about firing The Turtle and Ryan are just that, and nothing more.

Fantasies about a new party are nothing more than Democrat agitprop and they need to stop. The Republican Party is OUR party. It is a conservative party. WE pay the bills. WE do the organizing. WE do the grass roots work. WE have the think tanks. WE have the ideas. We have the principles. WE should not be the ones to leave. The losers need to be the ones to go, and the clearest, fastest place to start that is in the Executive Department.

There’s a night and day difference when attempting to remove someone from office if they are ‘appointed’ or if they are ‘elected’. One can’t simply be fired when they are duly elected by the people anymore than the President can be removed without just cause in an impeachment process.

All the impeachment noise from the left is just that; noise. However; dirtbags like Graham, and McTurd have made it clear they are willing to be traitors to the American people when it comes to President Trump. All efforts should be to de-fang these turncoats and censure them. Remove them from all committees and take away any perks they may have that’s paid for with taxpayer dollars such as travel expenses to exotic places for their pleasure. Make life a living hell for them by demoting them to something lower than a Freshman senator or representative. Make them look and feel like the lowest life form in DC. They will quit or they will do something stupid so they can be arrested and then fired for due cause.
