Whenever I start thinking about our country's not too distant future, I get this awful feeling in the pit of my stomach of total despair watching the evil maneuvers hatched by the democrats to try to destroy our great country. They have demonstrated for all to see that they don't care about the people of this country. Just observe what they have done to thwart anything that could help us to improve our healthcare system. They just care about their power and financial rewards. Now just contemplate the following scenario: (If I were a betting man, I would support this situation). IF /When the left wins control of the house and Senate during Mid terms, They will immediately start Impeachment procedures against both President Trump s well as Vice President Pence. Their ultimate goal will be to automatically elevate then Speaker of the house Pelosi to the position of POTUS. This scenario is the most frightening situation in the history of our Republic. Any comments?

I would like to bring you up to date on my health situation. I have 3 more Chemo sessions to be followed by the final Pet-Scan. I will keep you updated. While our financial hardship has totally devastated us, your assistance really helped both financially and mentally. It takes more than control of the Senate to remove a president. It takes a 2/3rds vote. Also, some squish pubbie Senators might vote to remove Trump, but they would not vote to remove Pence.

Correct. They would not ever vote to remove Pence. With Pence as Pres., it’ll be back to business-as-usual, which is all they want. Pence=total establishment, Uniparty. He’s fully compromised and plays ball. Arguably he’s there in the way G.H.W.B. was there for RWR.

See, the word “if” changes a scenario - by uttering or writing the word, the speaker/writer is assuming that you are bright enough to think about and consider alternative scenarios.

I guess that assumption was off a bit in your case.

However, as long as we are discussing the “if” scenario in this thread, let’s take a closer look. That the Republicans could lose the House, likely making Nancy Pelosi the Speaker, is well within the realm of possibility. That the Republicans could lose the Senate, when 25 of the 33 seats up for election next year are currently held by Democrats - several of whom are in states won by Trump in 2016 - , and the economy is manifestly improving, is far less likely, to the point of being almost nil. That the Republicans would lose enough seats to enable the Senate to vote by a 2/3 majority to convict Trump (which is the necessary to remove a President from office after impeachment and a trial in the Senate), is about as likely as winning the grand prize in the Powerball lottery on the only ticket that you ever played in your life. Oh, and then doing the same to Pence? That simply won’t happen - he’s been accused of nothing of significance by the Dems other than being too religious and too pro-life.

To remove Trump, you could add several more Repubs to this list. Corker, Grahamnesty, McConnell, Sasse, Flake---are just a few that come to mind. 70% would be easy for the Repubs to whip up. The shocker would be that there would be some who would vote NOT to get rid of Trump.

ALL they--The Establishment/Deep State---want is to get back to BUSINESS AS USUAL. And they can regardless of whether it's a Dem or GOPe as POTUS.

What they (Uniparty) DON'T want and MUST NOT HAVE AGAIN is a non-professional-politician president that is not one of them, that is not compromised.

Very heady assumptions you are making:

1) A blowout in the House.
2) A blowout in the Senate.
3) Successful impeachment and removal of President Trump.
4) Successful impeachment and removal of Vice President Pence.
5) Suppression of a major revolution by millions of enraged patriots.

All five must occur to realize your scenario. Ergo, exceptionally unlikely.
