We’re getting 5 or 6 Amish paste tomatoes every day.
Another variety didn’t do well but has produced a dozen nice tomatoes so far. I think a disease came with the seed...

Mmmm, looks like our garlic haul this month.
Last two weeks our gardens just exploded - squash went from a few flowers to real squash in one week - didn't know it could do that!
Potatoes, cucumbers, peppers (bells, Jalapenos, hot cherry, and Habeneros), tomatoes, beans, and peas are all growing like some alien invasion - what a great time of the year.
Thank you Jesus!

Right now the chipmunks are eating beans of various types.

The cats dug up all my container plants/window boxes last night. Mama is NOT happy. They didn’t get canned food for breakfast.

With 100 degree temps, every garden I’ve seen (TX) is already burned up. Those plastic greenhouses would have cooked plants here. We need air conditioning on them.

Nice looking garlic. I need to add some new varieties to what I put in this fall.

These are German Red and the earlier ones were Chinese Red . I think I planted 10 or 12 varieties when I first started going it and started weeding them down and this year was just 2 but more rows of each...

I’ll put your name on the list but you drew a poor number...

Cukes, squash and tomatoes are on a role, but some of the cukes are bitter. Why? Sometimes, cukes from the same plant, one is excellent and the other bitter. Why?

Dahlias should be dug and divided every 2 or 3 years as the tubers multiply so fast but we do not have freezing temps here on Humboldt Bay, maybe a week of 27 to 30 degrees

And WHY don’t I grow Dahlia? I used to grow, ‘Bishop of Llandaff’ from seed; why did I stop? The burgundy foliage ALONE is worth the price of admission!
Give him a try!

I think I counted 14 or 15 12 foot rows of various garlic...
