COCOA, Fla. - Shoppers at a Walmart on Clearlake Road expressed concern Monday after learning that at least 16 registered sex offenders, some designated as sexual predators, listed the store as their home address.
State law allows homeless sex offenders to use the address of the closest physical address for their registration.
Most of the sex offenders listing the Walmart as their home address likely live across the street in a homeless camp set up in a wooded area, police said.

No this is not a funny subject but I have not seen one of those in a while used to go around the internet the PEOPLE OF WALMART.

They don't live in a group home. They live in a homeless camp across the street from Walmart. Another consequence of our "feel good" but essentially useless sex offender registries.

I am sure it is an unpopular opinion, but sex offender registries accomplish almost nothing. In many cases, they are counterproductive. But, they are a good vehicle for opportunistic politicians to claim they “are doing something”.

It became less entertaining to poke fun at Wal-Mart after it became undeniable that perverted men were allowed to ogle women and girls in Target restrooms with corporate approval.

Well they have diluted the sex offender brand so much it covers a frat boy who had consensual drunken sex at a party with a woman who later regretted it to a horny teenager who took a picture of themselves on a smart phone who sent their crush an inappropriate picture.
Sex offender needs to ONLY cover actual pedophiles, actual rapists, and creeps like Bill Clinton/Cosby.

If you had ever bothered to read the threads on this site about the pictures of Wal-Mart site, much of the discussion centered around asserting that people who shopped at other brick and mortar chains were above people who shop at Wal-Mart.
Target was often mentioned as a place to shop which in some manner supposedly made the shopper a better person than people who shop at Wal-Mart.
I have seen really weird stuff over my decades of life, including at expensive boutique shops in exclusive malls. I didn’t participate in the preening and posturing.
Now that Target is revealed for the sort of place it always was, those threads are gone.
