At 45 he died? In those days lung cancer from cigarettes that were different in kind were not as lethal as were later ones.

I remember lots of people doubted cause of death

Alan Burke’s show was captivating while on WIOD, Miami. 1973? Ill remember his wife’s name later. He ended every show with “God bless America.”

I got hooked on “conservative talk” while driving through Washington, DC in the 1970s. Don’t recall whose show it was.
