Islam and America cannot “co-exist”.

“Judging the entire faith based on those bad apples would be unfair to the dozens of peaceful Muslims who genuinely disapprove of mass murder.”

Lol.

I agree. That statement is mainly commenting on moozlums who practice taqiyya.

Important to point out that those quoted passages are from the Second Given Half of the koran - the only part which Mohammad claimed was valid, since those were the last words of allah.

The ‘peaceful’ passages/suras are from the First Given Half and Mohammad voided them; besides they can be found in the Torah and the Bible from which they wee plagiarized. These is the suras ‘moderate’ muslims love to quote as they practice their taqyyia on naive Westerners.

I didn’t know the Arabic name without looking it up - there are several that are over 200 verses. I did remember that the long ones mostly ramble with stories stolen from the Torah and Bible, and one of those followed the very short first surah, but I did not remember that the second surah (al-Baqarah “the cow”) was the longest. I guess my memory doesn’t meet your standards (note: my Koran was already within arm’s reach when I read your post).

Islam is a religion of peace when they are the majority population...

They are at peace since no other religion is allowed...

But I’m sure that you, an atheist, is scared to your literal death to actually compare Religions. You should do a little research and comparison.

Read my post a little more carefully if you missed the hint of subtle sarcasm. I am a Christian, and I have read the Bible many times through - mostly in English, but also Greek and Aramaic. I believe it is important to read or at least refer to the Bible in the original language when nonbelievers try to claim (always falsely) that the words do not mean what they seem to say. The King James translators did a masterful job, which I believe was divinely guided.

I believe the Bible is a blend of literal truth (Jesus died for our sins, Moses led the Jews out of Egypt, etc) and parables that are not literally true (people do sew new patches on old garments even when it's a bad idea, the mustard seed is not literally the smallest seed in existence, etc.) but teach deeper truths. I believe the Bible is the inspired word of God and that what we learn from the Bible by reading scripture prayerfully is true.

As for Islam, if you read my original post and consider the relative numbers, you may get an idea of what I believe about those who follow Satan.

Why did I intentionally express my point in a way that offended several people on this thread? For the same reason that Jesus taught by parables. If you make a point indirectly, that is often stronger than a direct statement.

Bible, Strong's Concordance, and several related books are on my desk in front of me, closer than the Koran. The family Bible is there too, but I only read from it for major holidays because it's about 150 years old and I want it to last.
