t's one of the most hotly-anticipated blockbusters of the summer, particularly due to the involvement of a certain One Direction star. And fans got a glimpse of Harry Styles in action in the dramatic new trailer for Dunkirk on Friday. In one scene, the 23-year-old is seen swimming desperately towards one of the rescuers before grabbing his hand.

I hope it’s as good as the trailer.
Looks like a great movie!
I hope we don’t see how the gays were mistreated by the Brits, and how some commander’s words really hurt some of the troops.

....looks good
I watch HOME FIRES on PBS. The gay/less-bean thingy is almost more than I can take.
Thanks for posting. I’ve had this in my saved DVD Netflix Queue since it first showed up. Great cast: Kenneth Branagh (Wallander), Cillian Murphy (Peaky Blinders), Mark Rylance (Wolf Hall), and who can forget Tom Hardy!! Loved Hardy in his recent series “Taboo.” Looking forward to the second season when it’s aired.
Home Fires had originally been cancelled, but has now been renewed for a third and final season.
Ok. I give. Why make a movie out of Dunkirk?
That looks awesome!
Christopher Nolan is a great filmmaker, one of the best working these days.
Why not? (Though I’m still waiting on one about Leyte Gulf.)
Besides, “Battle of Britain” could use a prequel....
Wow...a WWII movie with Inception music.
It was the British peoples finest hour. The BEF was about to be wiped out and British civilians used their own private boats to go help the Royal Navy evacuate them off the French beaches.
Harry Styles ping.
Maybe the people’s finest hour but not the Allies. The escape was due much more to the Germans ill advised pause than to anything else. It would have been an epic slaughter yet still a staggering amount of materiel was left behind. Staggering.
But, hey, I’m sure it can be sexed up in a suspense-thriller with leading men, explosions, fireballs and love interests.
I’d rather watch the Brits rout the Krauts in North Africa.
The only decent war movies being made today are Russian ones, like “Brest Fortress.”
It’s a “sign of the times”.
I’m British, I don’t a think you have any idea how important of an event this was for us.
“...seen in the cockpit of his RAF fighter jet...”
Doesn’t anyone proof read these articles?
