Despite the marches and protests of Brownshirt fascists everywhere, and despite the unprecedented negative fake news coverage of his first 100 days, Trumps supporters are unfazed. Just a week ago Pew showed that he had lost almost none of his base.
Now, a new Peoples Pundit Daily poll out of Florida shows that Trump remains very strong in the Sunshine State. Richard Baris, the president of PPD, says Since the election, the Presidents support among whites has held roughly even in the nations largest battleground state, while his support among non-whites, particularly Hispanics, has risen slightly on almost ever measure. In private, however, Baris is even more emphatic: based on vote share per county, there would be zero chance Trump would lose Florida today. He reemphasized, zero. Trumps numbers in the swing county Pinellas were positive and Hillsborough just under 50. But the Panhandle? Ridiculous margins in favor of Trump, noted Baris.
Always careful to protect his national best election day polling record (one of only two to correctly call Michigan and Pennsylvania), Baris did not divulge if he had factored in the new positive Republican voter registration changes (+27,000, net) since election day. For those who havent followed my columns, I should repeat that the change in Pennsylvania was even more stunningover 100,000 shifted to the Republicans/away from the Democrats. In short, as of early May, Trump is in a distinctly stronger position in two key states than he was just a few short months ago when he won them narrowly.
Bet he's a FReeper.
PING
Can’t be positive about that.
I’m a Freeper and I dont know whether I’m coming or going half the time :)

That ROCKS
He does and he is :-)
Hey!
What does a Trump backer know?
Just kidding, LS!

This is especially important to me as I lived in PA for 17 years, and worked on Senator Santorum’s campaign...you don’t get these kind of numbers in that Commonwealth unless your doing something right...and President Trump is doing nothing but WINNING and doing it for America and the American People!!!
If you can subscribe to People’s Pundit Daily, Richard knows his stuff.
He is saying right now that there are three Dem Senators ready to vote for a similar version to the House healthcare bill.
I think a big part of this is the continued whining, obfuscating and all-out rioting by the Dims/antifa crowd. Hard working Americans are watching. That kind of behavior doesn’t bring in votes.
“Polls: Trump Keeps and Expands His Base”
Said it since 2015:
“His base is not malleable”
Much to the consternation of the NeverTrump dullards that show up here.
We knew why we voted for him. It was NOT party loyalty (he is a 3rd party candidate that had to defeat BOTH parties) or 10000% ideological purity, and we see him delivering in spades on the pro-American agenda he was clear about wanting. Others are seeing it too and are getting on board.
Maybe at some point a few people on FR will finally start to GET IT.
May be true that Trump is not losing his hard core base, but I know that he is losing many new supporters who voted for him with great hope.
Just heard that ten minutes as go from one of them who know many of them. And he articulated their fury with him.
It’s really really bad luck that Ivanka is such a leftist. It is definitely hurting us. And more and more l am coming to the conclusion that Trump is secretly in favor of single payer. I thank God every day he beat the witch but it could have been even better. The congress is almost worthless.
I wonder if the strengthening of Trump’s base may be a macrocosm of microcosms like me: a Reagan conservative who supported Trump enthusiastically from the beginning - but not because I thought he was a Reagan conservative, but because he was fearless, a winner, good at making the media look foolish, and he was not Hillary Clinton.
Then, after watching him establish a strong lead in the primaries, issue some policy position papers and hearing him say all the right things in his campaign rallies, I began to think - he’s really not so “unconservative”. Hmmm.
By the time the election came around it became clear to me that this man had all the right enemies. My God, he might be the real thing.
And every day since the election he proves it again and again - the people he appoints, the battles he picks, the political risks he takes - Donald Trump is as good a champion as this conservative has ever had and MUCH better than I expected him to be. And I expected a lot.
Maybe there are others like me, who aren’t measuring Trump by the media’s bogus 100 days yardstick but instead are simply stunned by his steadfast determination against the left.
He must have conservative principles, right? Otherwise, how could he stay focused on the right things? Otherwise, why would he bother going back to PA, Michigan, Wisconsin and hold thank you rallies? Why would he bother being accountable to the voters and keeping obscure campaign promises that are extremely important - but only to conservatives?
What happened to the usual Republican “rush to center” after he won the primary? He totally skipped that phase.
I’m way beyond happy with my vote, and from these polls, it seems I’m not alone.
Bet he’s a FReeper.
++++
He is.
Really? What, specifically, is Ivanka doing that’s so destructive to Trump’s agenda?
Ronald Reagan had that rabid leftist son Ron who was 180° away from everything his father stood for, and although he had no official role, they probably spoke - nobody worried it would be ‘contagious’.
I think it’s OK for a father to have children with different views from his own; I know I do.
He is more of a conservative than most in DC with R’s after their name. An enigma who rolls with the punches and if circumstances change, ready to forge ahead on a different path; ANYTHING, to get it done! He has disappointed once or twice; overall - I’m pleased and happy, especially with the fact he sees what WTP see in DC. The waste, red tape, and cronyism.
Reagan had Maureen, a Rino daughter, and Patti, the communist daughter. Didn’t mean beans to anybody but the media.
OH yeah - forgot all about the female offspring. But you’re right it didn’t matter then - and worrying about Ivanka now seems silly.
I think the problem with democrats today is that they are no longer principled (if they ever were). You see them staking out whatever position is the most opposite to Trump so they can hate him some more. They don’t care if it ruins the country, they just want to get back in power to keep the gravy train going.
Trump knows this, so he toys with them, and gets them into conflicting positions - like: Trump opposes open borders so they have to love open borders, which pisses off formerly democrat labor unions. Trump opposes Muslim human rights violations against women - democrats react with knee jerk in favor of all things Muslim - even female genital mutilation. What idiots.
Anyway, I think there is nothing wrong with small doses of genuine liberal sentiments Ivanka style- like wanting to protect endangered species, clean air and water, protect human rights, fight genocide, famine, desease, slavery. We should all want those things if they are sincere and affordable endeavors.
The democrats are not sincere, they are just opposing anything Trump wants to do, and what they really want is power - and to get themselves back into office they are willing to do anything. They are no different than drug pushers in it for profit, and not giving a damn that the drug ruins lives. The drug they push is socialism which will corrupt and destroy western civilization, self governance, free-market, freedom of religion - all down the drain for all they care.
Ivanka may be a bit liberal, but she’s doesn’t fall into that category.
