PING
Hey!
What does a Trump backer know?
Just kidding, LS!
change in Pennsylvania was even more stunningover 100,000 shifted to the Republicans/away from the Democrats. In short, as of early May, Trump is in a distinctly stronger position in two key states than he was just a few short months ago when he won them narrowly.

This is especially important to me as I lived in PA for 17 years, and worked on Senator Santorum’s campaign...you don’t get these kind of numbers in that Commonwealth unless your doing something right...and President Trump is doing nothing but WINNING and doing it for America and the American People!!!
I think a big part of this is the continued whining, obfuscating and all-out rioting by the Dims/antifa crowd. Hard working Americans are watching. That kind of behavior doesn’t bring in votes.
“Polls: Trump Keeps and Expands His Base”
Said it since 2015:
“His base is not malleable”
Much to the consternation of the NeverTrump dullards that show up here.
We knew why we voted for him. It was NOT party loyalty (he is a 3rd party candidate that had to defeat BOTH parties) or 10000% ideological purity, and we see him delivering in spades on the pro-American agenda he was clear about wanting. Others are seeing it too and are getting on board.
Maybe at some point a few people on FR will finally start to GET IT.
May be true that Trump is not losing his hard core base, but I know that he is losing many new supporters who voted for him with great hope.
Just heard that ten minutes as go from one of them who know many of them. And he articulated their fury with him.
I wonder if the strengthening of Trump’s base may be a macrocosm of microcosms like me: a Reagan conservative who supported Trump enthusiastically from the beginning - but not because I thought he was a Reagan conservative, but because he was fearless, a winner, good at making the media look foolish, and he was not Hillary Clinton.
Then, after watching him establish a strong lead in the primaries, issue some policy position papers and hearing him say all the right things in his campaign rallies, I began to think - he’s really not so “unconservative”. Hmmm.
By the time the election came around it became clear to me that this man had all the right enemies. My God, he might be the real thing.
And every day since the election he proves it again and again - the people he appoints, the battles he picks, the political risks he takes - Donald Trump is as good a champion as this conservative has ever had and MUCH better than I expected him to be. And I expected a lot.
Maybe there are others like me, who aren’t measuring Trump by the media’s bogus 100 days yardstick but instead are simply stunned by his steadfast determination against the left.
He must have conservative principles, right? Otherwise, how could he stay focused on the right things? Otherwise, why would he bother going back to PA, Michigan, Wisconsin and hold thank you rallies? Why would he bother being accountable to the voters and keeping obscure campaign promises that are extremely important - but only to conservatives?
What happened to the usual Republican “rush to center” after he won the primary? He totally skipped that phase.
I’m way beyond happy with my vote, and from these polls, it seems I’m not alone.
