I used to live in chas, wva. yeager airport is a bit of a challenge on a good day.
They messed with that runway and was a mudslide in 2015, now this. Think who every built that runway did not know what they were doing.
Flew into that airport when I was in flight school. Departure was a thrill.

I’ve only flown into Charleston, WV one time—years ago. It felt like a pelican diving straight down after a fish. I arrived on the tarmac O.K., but my stomach didn’t join me until a few minutes later.
RIP.
Reporter stated it was a boxstyle plane?
Odd they don’t know what type of aircraft it was.
