FULL TITLE: California camping trip turns to horror when a group of men threaten to rape woman if she is still in her tent by daybreak
A local couple say their camping trip turned to horror after a gang of men threatened to rape a woman for staying on their 'territory'.
The man and woman, who do not want to be named for fear of a reprisal attack, were staying at the Bear River Campground in Colfax, California, over Easter Weekend when they say they were approached by a group of campers.
The men arrived in a rusted pickup truck, with a chainsaw and BB guns, but were initially friendly, inviting the couple over for a beer and complimenting their music.

Once again the real world confirms why a person should be able to own a semi-auto rifle or pistol with high capacity magazines.
Kinda tough for anybody to pitch in with recollections at this point. It’s been a week, and there’s nothing about the couple, in accordance with their wishes. Even if you saw a “rusty pick-up” at some point that weekend, you’ve forgotten most of the details about it.

Not so sure. While in the deep woods when one sees a rusty pick up one almost always hears banjo music is why one remembers such a thing.

BB gun and chainsaw screams drunk white trash or meth heads that watch too many movies on VHS.
Bring a real gun and dare them to try anything.
Use of a GoPro is warranted. Once the threat is made, on video, killing each of them is justified as self defense.

Bear river campground is home to many homeless. Locals don’t go until the weather warms up.

Actually, it is perfectly legal to carry a loaded piece on your hip at your campsite in California. I’ve been doing it for years, especially in remote camps where there are more mountain lions and bears that people.
