Like her co-star, Strahovski is perturbed by parallels between the reality of the Hulu series and reality itself, finding the timing of the project to be particularly interesting, beginning production pre-election, watching the election results come in, and continuing on with the series following this apparent turning point. The Handmaids Tale is a human story, and womens rights are human rights, and its all about equality, but at the end of the day, its not equal, the actress says of the series resonance. You need a feminist movementyou need to label that with something in order to shed light on it, and I feel like theres no way you cant acknowledge those parallels, especially in todays political climate.

Ironically, her parents fled communist Poland to give their a daughter a better life. And now she's embracing socialism/communism.
As in 650 million female slaves of islam?
I knew a guy who fled an Eastern European country with his father when he was a child. Been a far left liberal his whole life. Other than that, a great guy. Just don’t discuss politics with him.
She’s probably always been liberal - but now she can easily earn street cred by saying so.
Interesting that she’s never protested Poland’s very strict abortion laws (she’s extremely pro Poland).
It’s possible. In the past, the only issue she ever talked about was climate change and followed one political account (Obama). Then around the election, she followed several left wing accounts. But she still doesn’t actually tweet about politics. Heck she hasn’t even posted the links to any of these interviews where she’s discussed politics. Maybe she doesn’t want her fans to see the interviews?
yes, Yvonne StraHOTski is gorgeous, but she’s been a mindless lib for a long time. Loved her in “Chuck” though.... I recall seeing a comment of hers some years ago, where she said she had to drop her “Chuck” co-star Adam Baldwin from her social media friends network because of his right-wing views. I looked up his Twitter feed out of curiosity, to see if he was some raving neo-Nazi or anything, and he was just a standard pro-American good guy. A much toned down version of his character “Casey” on the show. Evidently she couldn’t stand that, even to know him.
If you don’t have the “right” opinions in Hollywood you don’t get invited to the “right” cocktail parties or casting calls.
I have absolutely no idea what that means. Is English her first language?
Wow so deep. A woman has to show thigh and more and spout the virtues of liberalism. Yawn.
Loved her as Miranda!
I think she’s Australian, so Fosters?
Sorry for the double post.
Sorry for the double post.
My thoughts exactly. What a disappointment. Her Polish relatives who fought for freedom must be rolling in their graves.
Even on the show, though, they made her a lib. She could not shoot to kill, and when she was tricked into it (”Red Test”) she regretted it the rest of the show.
She did kill the Fulcrum agent at the end of the Christmas episode, but portrayed it like she did something horrible. The red test arc was one of worst stoylines they ever did.
