State officials are asking Congress to guarantee billions of dollars in health insurance subsidies under a legal cloud as a result of Republican opposition to “Obamacare.”

In a letter Wednesday to congressional leaders, the nonpartisan National Association of Insurance Commissioners said the so-called cost-sharing reductions are essential for keeping insurance markets stable next year. Insurers use the money to reduce deductibles and copayments for people with modest incomes. …

Just another reason why Obamacare needs to be eradicated

They lie. They are not trying to keep markets stable, they are trying to tube the effort to rectify Obamacare’s hidden welfare program.

What is the issue with protecting them?

Do they hurt anyone?

We are, in my opinion, on the wrong side of this issue. Sure Obamacare can be dramatically improved. That is what Trump has said all along. But the only people who benefit by the old system, would seem to me to be PHYSICIANS.

Healthcare in America kept getting more expensive.

That is not the way Americans want things. We want healthcare which is affordable once again.

The old system, is not doing that.

They don’t do what the left claims they do. Not defensible. Don’t even try.

They hurt me. We’re paying for our own health insurance and someone else’s health insurance through taxes AND higher premiums. Its a double whammy! It’s not healthcare. It’s health insurance. Why does someone deserve to have regular health insurance paid for by me while I pay for my own? That’s the issue.

Exactly. No one is subsidizing my health insurance, which I can barely afford, and cannot even use due to the huge deductible ($6,650 out of pocket before it pays a cent). So why should I be forced to pay for theirs?

The old system worked fine for me ,but ACA means paying $114 more per week for the same benefits. Damn Obamacare lies and SOBs like you.

Obama care will die this year. And it appears it will take its last gasp right here in Knoxville, Tennessee.

“No Money shall be drawn from the Treasury, but in Consequence of Appropriations made by Law”

It’s a plain fact that Comgress did not appropriate these funds.
The media lies and lies and lies- all for money.

cba123 is speaking for Americans.

cba123 likely neglects his own health and wants YOU to pay.

cba123 knows Americans like YOU want to give
to the TAX ME MORE fund, so he can he more donuts.
But of course he will call you a rich person.

Nothing of Obamacare should remain.

I would like for obamacare to go the way of the DoDo Bird, but I have mixed feelings due the the situation of a dear family who are really good friends of mine. They are good Christian, hard working, frugal and intelligent people who have never had insurance because they could not afford it. They would never take welfare. He works on a mega farm for $8 an hour. It’s hard back-breaking dangerous work. She stayed home and raised her children, kept a garden, chickens, etc. She will take an odd job when she can get free. When any of them were sick they would go to a local dr. or to the E.R. and whatever the cost they would pay off a little at a time. When they applied for medicaid they were turned down because he made too much money. Life has not been easy for them but they never complain. For the first time in their lives they have insurance because of the subsidies of obamacare. What is the answer for those who refuse to live on welfare yet are refused medical care? IN the past I would overpay her for helping me clean or babysit if I knew they were paying for medical care. The system leaves them out because they originally refused to live off the system. I think I will be very sad if they lose their insurance (they pay their share but subsidy makes it possible.)

People circumstance, no matter how bad, are not delegations of power to the government to meet them.

Your friends should instead have gone to Medi-Share or something like it.
