Survivor contestant Jeff Varner who outed fellow competitor Zeke Smith as transgender on Wednesday nights episode of the CBS reality competition has been fired from his real estate job.
The Greensboro News & Record reports Varner was fired on Thursday from Allen Tate Realtors because he was in the middle of a news story that we dont want anything to do with.

It’s a private company, they should be able to hire and fire whomever they want for any reason.
.....”We are becoming/have become a culture which is beholden to the dogma of petty tyrants. Free speech is dying.”....
It’s being ‘murdered’... with purpose.
The company should at least have feedback on their actions so they could make better decisions in the future.
“We have created a culture where a company would fire a valued employee because of social pressure. The social pressure should be the view I dont like what you have to say, but Ill defend with my life your right to say it. In a culture that values free speech, he doesnt get fired. We are becoming/have become a culture which is beholden to the dogma of petty tyrants. Free speech is dying.”
How do you know that Varner was a ‘valued employee’ of the real estate company?
Perhaps he was, maybe he was not, but it is not our under our purview to determine his value to the company.
While our culture should value free speech, we should also respect a businesses’ right to control who is under their employment or contract.
Under the Constitution, KKK members have a right to march in Skokie, but under the terms of their employment, they may not have to right to hand out their business card while at the march.
But, the tranny is reaping the benefits as he/she hits the talk show circuit. The only thing the media loves more than a tranny is, perhaps, a Muslim.
You know what he did had to be a PR disaster considering Varner is a homosexual himself. If he had outed a Trump supporter, he'd probably still have his job.
I don’t watch the show, but gays made a point some time ago of outing gays who didn’t necessarily want to be outed and the gay community thought that was just peachy keen. So what’s the big deal about a gay outing another gay who happens to be a lesbian in men’s clothing? Gays are confusing.
I can't speak for Homer1, but perhaps he feels that, while it is not a violation of any civil right for a business to fire an employee for expressing an opinion, he still finds it worthy of condemnation.
I am pro-Trump. Nevertheless, if, e.g., the stationery shop I patronize fired one of its employees for making an anti-Trump statement, I would find that morally offensive, and would voice my indignation. Perhaps I would even boycott the shop and/or encourage others to do likewise - but I would likewise be opposed to any attempt to legally sanction the shop.
Regards,
But lets not play games here.
If this company did this to a person because they voted for Trump or were doxed by some lefty because they ran a conservative blog, people here would not be so nonchalant about it.
These guys only managed to onlh put a gigantic target on their backs that the LGBLT mafia will be all to happy to bomb now.
It is a game of opposites.
If the leftists say Transgender Man they mean a bio woman
If the leftists say Transgender Woman they mean a bio man
I bet the real reason he was fired is because survivor wanted to put the it on display and he stole their thunder. The survivor pushed the company to fire him.
“The lesson would be, say away from that microphone, stay way from the camera, stay away from the media and keep your mouth shut.”
No, the lesson is you can use the microphone all you want on camera, you just had better say only approved things which allow “transgenders” to maintain their fantasy world outlook. Deviate from that, actually exercise your free speech rights on a TV show, and you’re doomed.
What’s crazier, is the the woman that became a man... likes.. MEN .. o.O
> There is no tyranny here, it is not like the Soviet Union and has this nothing whatsoever to do with free speech or the Constitution.
you got one out of three correct
please study harder next time
There are no "free speech rights" regarding a private association such as employment by a private company. The First Amendment is about the government abridging your right to free speech. No such thing happened in this instance.
Can't believe there's a thread on FR about such put-on sturm und drang as "reality" TV where a couple of deviants having a cat-fight is considered "entertainment." The whole thing is simply sick and wrong, just like the creeping faggotry entering nearly every show. I've given up on what used to be a favorite show, Major Crimes, because the only thing left for the writers to display is actual gay sex butt-humping between a couple of characters. The fact that society is re-arranging itself to accommodate such a small group's perversions just astounds me.
because he was in the middle of a news story that we dont want anything to do with.
Thinking that the law will not consider you being unhappy as a legit reason to fire someone. Especially as it is not relate to your business or the person job performance in any manner. Can you say LAWSUIT?
Confusing and Confused!
I hate those so-called “reality” shows. They are nothing more than an excuse to put on the screen young “sexy” bodies, and to show us people being rotten to each other and sneaking in a kiss or a lay.
Those things are taken as OK, because they are the purpose of the show. But anything non-PC is condemned. What hypocrites they are!
Obviously the agenda of the show is to make us accept meanness, conniving, plotting, backstabbing, shaming, making people feel lousy, random sex and cheating, and to tell us that transsexual is wonderful.
Why I don’t watch much TV.
“The lesson would be, say away from that microphone, stay way from the camera, stay away from the media and keep your mouth shut.”
Sort of, be a sheep.
