Even the animal kingdom has been a bit testy lately. The moment a seemingly unprovoked horse attacked an alligator near Gainesville, Florida was captured in footage originally shared by Krystal Berry on Wednesday and posted to Storyful. The video, which included a small crowd of horrified onlookers, quickly caught social media's attention.

Nature is so cool!!
This line tho: “The moment a seemingly unprovoked horse attacked”
Unprovoked? These dipsh!ts really think animals and humans are the same.
In an interview with the horse later:...
“Well, that green-trash gator was eyeballin’ me. And you don’t get up in MY ‘HOOD and disrespect me. I stomped his goofy ass!”
I thought wild horses only existed on coastal islands along the Atlantic.
Bunch of wild horses out west we see a bunch of them while tubing the salt river every year
Maybe the gator said something insulting about the horse’s mother.
Thanks. I should have added to the original post my previous belief that wild horse populations in the Eastern US were confined to coastal islands along the Atlantic.
There was a great series of shots a few years ago where a cougar got killed by a mule. It wasn’t even a close fight. I wonder if the cougar was weakened prior to the encounter.
My horses are not afraid of wildcats, cows, bulls or about any other living creature. A blowing paper sak or a wayward butterfly? Oh, wow! They will jump out of their skin to avoid. You better be hanging on.
Seems like the gator got the LOSER label in this fight.
Llamas are often used as ‘guard animals’ out west in cougar country- the llamas patrol the corral and put a whoopin on any cougar dumb enough to try to take one of the horses
No headline like that will ever get a click from me.
I have a herd of five wild (feral) horses living in the woods near my place here in Oregon. One of them ran into my car one night on my driveway. They keep trying to steal our hay.
Where did phrase Horse Sense come from?
These people are typical snow flakes. “Just leave it alone”
Really?
On another note, about 0220 this morning a cougar was eyeballing my neighbors new born beef calves. Pissed off momma cows and a couple of bulls in that heard showed who was leaving. Reminds me of the video where a beef herd killed a bear that was stalking the herd.
Also reminded me of a cougar attacking my horse about the same time of night.

Buck doesnt mess around. Buck might also have a screw or two loose.
You know what animal seems completely benign but actually Harbors an inner new Rambo, thirsting for blood..?
donkeys!
I’m not kidding, donkeys like humans but hate many other animals and will attack them.
A donkey is basically a Navy SEAL in hobo clothes.
The horse is telling the gator to get out of it’s territory...
So NOW I know why Jesus rode on a donkey colt! He is quite the same, being a servant but underneath the Warrior King! Can’t wait till He comes back uncloaked.
had to laugh when the CROC shoes ad came on before the video.
I was not being a dick i was just always jazzed to see them out there only place i have ever seen wild horses
