COLUMBIA, TN (WSMV) -
The Maury County Public School district is promising better communication as it copes with the disappearance of 15-year-old Elizabeth Thomas.
nvestigators believe Thomas was kidnapped by her teacher, 50-year-old Tad Cummins, last Monday.
Channel 4 has uncovered new information about where Thomas and Cummins were allowed to go together after they were allegedly caught kissing in a classroom.

OK, then, where’s her Mama? It’s very unusual for a child from a typical two parent family to get a hankerin to run away with a teacher. Usually, the child is carefully chosen and groomed by men like this, who are always looking for a vulnerable girls or boys, who because of a problem with their home life, are susceptible to the attention.
My parents were married, loving and busy and not home after school. They never would have thought a school principal would groom me or pick me up in the middle of the night. I was quiet and shy and I believed this lying groomer. I was never taught about sex re relationships, never talked to about pervs adults who try and get with kids. It happened and it happens.
Teaching and outcome are two different things.......
History is filled with children who were taught properly at home but ended up bad..................There's no guarantee.

It doesn’t work. Most sane societies marry off the girls at 15-16 and the boys around 18. Asking them to resist natural urges without giving them an outlet in marriage is just asking for trouble. And yes you can stop such behavior, but it requires extreme sex segregation that we no long practice.
People blather on and on about morality while their kids screw around. Instead of trying moralize a system that doesn’t work, why not arrange marriages for your children? I’ve talked to men and women from societies that practice it and the men say it’s great because they can focus on education and career instead of chasing girls and the girls love it because that’s the only man they’ve ever been with and they love him to death.
Imagine churches filled with men and women who had good mates picked out for them, have little to no family strife because of it, and have tons of kids. Wouldn’t that be wonderful?
