Tomei is now 43 years old. Never married.

My assumption was that he at least knew enough to know that.

The funnyest part of that movie was when they were arguing in the motel and Vinniy was trying to figure out what he could where on his deer hunt with the prosecutor. The reply that Tomie’’s character gave made me laugh my backside off.
There were many great lines in that movie. One of the best comedy’s I’ve seen in 40 years.

Cut? That movie wouldn’t have been a lot less entertaining without her character. Absolutely hilarious performance.

This movie would be in dollar store video bins if Tomei were not in it.
Fred Gwynne was great in this film.
Lane Smith’s portrayal of a low-rent Matlock
is under-appreciated.
To: Bob434
Yeah....While I liked Mr Gwynne's character, his accent wasn't all that close. And the writers got it wrong, a real Main-ah wouldn't have said anything like that to a stranger. And, if it was a really thick Downeast accent, then the reply would've been indecipherable, anyway.
But it was a funny line.
FWIW, large portions of Pet Sematary were filmed in the Bangor, Maine area, and in Bangor International Airport.
Pet Sematary was also a real place, though not an "Indian Burial Ground", or whatever creative license was taken by Stephen King. The sign has long since been stolen, but I remember it as a kid. Everyone from around there knew about it.
