Whatever happened to "Day without Women"? The commuter trains to NYC were jammed with women heading to work. My workplace had 100% attendance of women. Not one mention of "Day without women". I came home to a woman. Normal day.

It was terrible today. I was sitting on the couch passing gas, using the back scratcher on my back as usual while watching the Met/Red Sox game and I snapped my fingers which is the command for my wife to get me a beer and SHE WASN’T IN THE KITCHEN!!! She was out at this stupid protest! I, ME, I had to get up off my couch and get myself a beer, can you believe it? What is the world coming to? If she thinks I’m giving her $5 bucks for a new dress this year she is outta her mind.

With the really smart women left behind at our place of work today, we increased output and improved morale along with collective maturity. The ladies who ran the machinery today had something of a point to make. Now we know which employees are the negative output producers. Thanks owed to the organizers of this event. We can begin staff reductions immediately next week.

I can imagine that feminists wouldn’t see it as a bust, if their job was feminism. For such people, there would be no understanding that life could require useful work. A meaningful protest would be staying home from their barista job to watch soap operas, eat chocolates, and exchange Facebook posts. Am I being a bit stereotypical here?

My mother took her med school in London during the Blitz.
She told me shrapnel from the bombings would often bounce off the OR roof.
After work, she would walk her route as a Night Warden to assure no lights shone through the blackout curtains.

I had completely forgotten that it was whatever-protest day until I happened to open a new tab on my phone at lunch time and saw all the articles about it on the default home page. I sure couldn’t tell by looking around my elementary campus; we all seemed to be present and accounted for...imagine that.

It was a demonstration dreamed up by neo-communists in the mold of “occupy” and BLM. Had nothing to do with women’s rights.
EPIC FAIL. Women showed up for this fiasco who were being paid to show up.
