Senator Franken and what was the intent of your question
Were you asking had Senator Sessions ever met with any Russian officials in the context of the election?
Or were you asking if Senator Sessions at ever met with any Russian officials ever?
If your question was the later do you think your question was clear on that point of Harry ever met with any Russian officials for any reasons.... and as working Senator Franken you would know that in your official capacity you know you obviously would have why ask an obvious question why didn't you call him out at the moment?

From the beginning of the questioning, it is obvious he is uncomfortable and somewhat apologetic, stipulating he doesn’t know if CNNs report is true before he launches into a very disjointed question. The entire thing is absurd.

The media knows damn well the context was about talking about the campaign, but instead they have edited the video, and then will not ask the clown what he meant by the question.
They won't ask him that question for a very simple reason: they know he (a) would refuse to answer and end the interview, and (b) would never again talk to that reporter, and possibly never again talk to any reporter from the MSM organization that employed that reporter.
That's how Democrats operate, and everyone knows it.
It would be an exercise in futility to ask Franken. I doubt he knew what he was asking because he wasn’t able to put a coherent question together. Plus, he would lie.
I had to repeat the video like 4 times to try and understand what Frankenstein was getting at. That had to be one of the most convoluted and disjointed questions I have heard. It took him well over a minute to ask the question.

Sessions answered Franken’s question, then CNN made it appear the Sessions answered a different question.

Judging by what I see on social media, I think the Dems didn’t get the public response they had hoped to get from this Sessions-Russians nonsense. I kind of suspect it blew up in their face.
Today they focused on “nearby” and how a typo suggests one is completely incapable of doing much of anything. This comes from a pack of wild animals that thinks that mistakes like “corpsemen” and “57 states” and saying “uh” chronically while speaking off the cuff are perfectly normal slips of the tongue made by elite geniuses.
I think they’re sweeping this one under the rug. You’ll never see Franken mention this again ... unless Trump gives another A+ speech that fires up the same people of this nation :-).

The CNN report which Franken references is the fake “dossier” alleging DJT paid prostitutes to pee on a bed at a Moscow hotel. CNN breathlessly hyped this garbage just in time for Sessions’ confirmation hearing. What a coincidence. /s
When reporting on the confirmation hearing CNN edits out most of Franken’s question to make it appear that Sessions answered a different question.
This entire attack on Sessions has been ginned up by CNN from day one.
