I haven’t noticed this in my Cairn terrier.

The Left argues that humans have no inherent morality — when it comes to Right and Wrong: “That’s like, your opinion, man.”

We have a Maine Coon Cat. Big guy 20 Lbs. He has morals and ethics. He watches us eat dinner. We can leave the table and retun 15 or 20 minutes later and he will be still there with our food undisturbed. When he wants to go out he just sits in front of the door. We put his cat carrier atop an old bureau (up high). Half the time he goes in on his own and sleeps inside. Great pet.

Dogs can usually judge people better than most people judge others.

I guess that explains why children get mauled by dogs.

Allright. That is NOT a “Human-Like Sense of Morality”. The dogs are perceiving who’s a nice guy, and who’s not. Not the same thing at all.

Not cats, though. They’re more like Andrew Zimmern: if it moves, eat it.

Absolutely. Correct. Dogs and cats are far better at sniffing out (oops) bad people - far better.

Absolutely. Correct. Dogs and cats are far better at sniffing out (oops) bad people - far better. They avoid them - we elect them.

They have greater morality than some humans, who teach their young that some other humans are “monkeys, pigs, and dogs”.

It’s a shame the Ctrl-Left is not as advanced as dogs and monkeys.

On You Tube search for “capuchin monkeys reciprocity”.
You will laugh so much at this video.

Most dogs are a good judge of character and would likely attack and bite most LSM Gerbilists.

How does he like riding of the roof of the car to the vet? ;-)

Dogs have got an innate sense of fairness, I can attest to that. Try giving a treat to one and not the other, the booboo face is epic and the hurt feelings last until you rectify it. So if you’re running low and have more than one dog, don’t give any treats until you get some more, or split what you have. They’re none to happy about being left out. Same with a trip in the car, to be honest, unless it’s a vet trip and they somehow know when that is.
