HANAHAN, S.C.
No one seems to know why there's an orange alligator in a pond near Charleston.
Residents joke the gator used too much self-tanning lotion. Or maybe it's a fan of the Clemson Tigers, who are known for their orange colors.
Residents living near the pond in Hanahan say they've seen the orange or rust-colored alligator a number of times.

Ping!...............
ORANGE!!
He must have been watching Glen Beck. Cheeto dust.
He’s a Deplorable Gaiter.
I don’t think that’s a full grown gator. The egg it came from may have been in contact with some sort of dye or oil product. The egg may have been laid in a stagnant swamp, where the water is still and doesn’t flow very much. This skin will probably be shed off as it matures.
Overwintered in a cast iron drainage pipe. Very common. The drainage pipe water is always warmer than the estuary.
I think he’s been in the Colorado River, downstream from that EPA caused mine dump.
If Donald Trump had a gator, it would look like that one.
The EPA mine spill was the first thing that came to my mind. Good call.
And if the ASPCG is looking for someone to adopt “Rusty”, they can call me.
Good catch! I was scanning the thread to see if anyone would draw the analogy. Your comment is a great way to do it.
Is that gator wearing sunglasses?
Durango, Colorado is quite a haul from Hanahan, SC.
Nope.................
Clemson fan.
