SAN FRANCISCO (CN) – A federal judge said Friday he will likely order the federal government to reallocate water, some earmarked for commercial interests, to stave off a salmon die-off on the California-Oregon border.

Two Native American tribes sued the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation last year, claiming its bungled management of Klamath River waterways allowed a deadly parasite to infect 91 percent of endangered juvenile Coho and Chinook salmon.

Remove all control of the river from all three of them. The tribes, the fegubs, and the fedlawyer.

Problem solved,

We're talking about California here; it rained for much of January for a change. It's only surprising that it took so long for someone to decide to divert more water for "environmental use".

(At least my back yard has some green in it...this week, give it another week or two and we'll be back to fewer showers, dead lawns, and flushing only when our breathing becomes threatened.)

Been doing it for DECADES under the Clean Water Acts (1970s, then ‘strengthened’ in the early 1990s, both signed into law under RINO presidents, by the way).

The laws were carefully written by Democrats to allow special interest groups to sue the government if they didn’t like how the then-Administration was carrying them out. So all you needed was a friendly federal judge, and he could simply cut off water to agriculture or whatever, if you found, say a snail darter or two. And, believe this or not, if the special interest groups, like the Sierra Club, lost their case - the government STILL had to pay their attorneys fees.

And if you drive through the Central Valley of California, you’ll see desert now, on what probably the most fertile farmland in the world, along with signs by the landowners telling you exactly why it is now in this condition.

That’s how bad things are, and our side were ENABLERS of it. It was laws like that which slowly led our side to realize that we were being played by our own party - and hence to Trump now being president.
