I went to see Patriot's Day today. Wow is all I can say. It made me so proud to be an American and even moreso the day before the greatest day for our country. I recommend this movie so much. Mark Walburg is a treasure with the movies he is putting out. Let me just say, if this guy is not a Republican then I don't know what to say. The dude goes to Mass everyday and then twice on Sunday because he enjoys the early morning Mass and takes the family to the later Mass. Come on he has to be a Republican.
Anyway, please go see the movie. It is absolutely a good one.
A patriotic movie A patriotic President A patriotic football team What could go wrong? Nothing.
Bkmrk.
Something has really snapped in that guy.
He is suddenly making SO MUCH SENSE..!
Looking forward to it!
hehehe. Good one.
You won’t be sorry I promise.
Haven’t been to a movie house since the first multiplex cinema shootings on Long Island, NY in 1993. They don’t make very thick walls.
Oh wow. That might have been quite an experience. Although I probably would have thought it was the movie next door instead of reality at least at first. Well hopefully when it comes out on DVD or some other platform, you can see it. It is worth it and the wait won’t hurt anything.
It’s must for me.
Daughter, son, and granddaughter have run the Boston Marathon.
I’ve been attending since the Johnny Kelley days-——men runners only.
.
Good deal and thanks for participating in the Boston Marathon. It seems like the city goes all out for it even after 2013.
On your recommend, I’m seeing it.
Thanks for the review. Neither my husband nor I have been impressed with the previews, but maybe we’ll reconsider going based on your recommendation. :-)
Cool. Thanks. I really think you will enjoy it.
Means a lot. Thanks!
Can’t wait. Problem with these book interviews is that I have one or two in the morning, one or two in the afternoon, then am beat at night-—no big window to go to a movie. Maybe Sunday now that my Cowboys are gone from the playoffs.
My thought after watching the movie and the way fellow citizens rushed to help one another was that there should be a requirement to know first aid in order to graduate from high school. How great if the general population had that basic knowledge.
Added to my Netflix queue. Don’t go to the movies. Best I can do.
Guess who else recommended it?
My pastor!.....this past Sunday said he was going!....from the pulpit!
He doesn’t usually do that....
Enjoyed the movie, but a caution that if you are offended by the incessant use of the “f” word, you may want to pass it up. It was really over the top and didn’t need to be.
He’s a registered Dem. Donates to the party, but he is a Devout Catholic. He’s from the outer Boston area so I’m sure the marathon bombing hit home. From what I understand, he was booked on American Airlines Flight 11 on 9/11, but cancelled at the last minute.
I suspect he is a patriot, but based on where he is from and his occupation prevent him from switching parties.
