Worked in a small engineering office. Mentioned how nice a black lady and her son had been to me.

The secretary, born and raised in the south responded saying..."They know their place".

This is likely fake because if you don’t tip someone, it is as likely due to bad service or stinginess as “I don’t like you”.
But I can see a waitress faking a note like this on top of people who didn’t tip her in order to get sympathy money.
