Northern big city people tell us Southerners we are ignorant. I beg to differ.
Think about this for a moment.
Whoever built New Orleans, a big city 7 feet below sea level, with defective levies, in a southern Louisiana hurricane zone, and filled it Democrats who can't swim is a pure genius!
But it was all Bush’s fault.
The broken tax structure’s the kicker.
,....and they put BIG MEAN GATORs in all the water ALL AROUND.
7-feet is the average. Baronne Street at the corner of the SBD Sears is 14 feet below sea level. We had a high school mechanical drawing/architecture class assignment to survey certain parts of the city. That is how I know that. ;-)
Met Hank Johnson a few times at evening charity events in my DC days. He was very drunk every time.
Thank God for Cheney’s weather machine ... almost worked perfectly !
I’d like to see the movie “Southern Comfort” remade with all congressional democrats.
Never mind that the people that run LA. are corrupt as hell.
Hello Landrieu family........!
Why do you think that is going away............?
It isn’t..............!
F the press and everybody that pushed that narrative.
Nagin in jail right?
Thank goodness a least a few understood it was a joke.
Be well.
Please quit posting your:
a). vanities
b). emails
c). general useless thoughts
In the news forum
Thanks
“general useless thoughts”
Actually, with the tension America is feeling right now, I thought we all could use a little laugh.
You do understand it was a joke?
P.S. Where does one post such items?
Have good good New Years.
P.P.S. Smart conservatives in DC paid $850 an hour for these “useless thoughts” for many years.... I’m just saying.... and by the way, had we had enough time, we had a client who would have paid for our firm to file a FOTC brief supporting FR in LAT v. Free Republic. I doubt the brief would have been considered “useless thoughts.”
seriously, they can’t swim
I believe General/Chat would suffice.
Ping me when you do, please. I enjoy them.
With all respect, and not being a racist, swimming is not a childhood learned skill in certain cultures.
In the 60s, the Army had to have a special “learn to swim” class so certain otherwise very qualified men who wanted to go to Ranger school could learn to be comfortable in the water. It was very hard for some of them to overcome decades of conditioning.
In my experience, they had been taught to fear the water, so they never learned to enjoy it.
I never made it to Ranger School, but at Jungle School in Panama, even though they were given a life jacket, we had to “tow” an otherwise outstanding, but very frightened, E-6 across the Chagras River.
He later went Line One in a dry rice patty in III Corps.
It is not funny !
Thank you, and I will.
Be well.
So a hurricane caused lots of damage. Cause whitey!
