Obama cried at send-off, says he could have been re-elected

President Obama admitted he cried at a recent senior staff send-off dinner — and is now claiming that he’d be able to get re-elected if he had run for president again.

“I am confident in this vision because I’m confident that if I had run again and articulated it, I think I could’ve mobilized a majority of the American people to rally behind it,” Obama said in a “The Axe Files” podcast interview by former aide David Axelrod.

“I know that in conversations that I’ve had with people around the country, even some people who disagreed with me, they would say, ‘The vision, the direction that you point towards is the right one,'” the outgoing president said.

Actually, he may well have gotten re-elected. You have to assume that everyone who voted for Hillary would have voted for Obama. Probably more because:

a) He would get more Sanders supporters
b) He would have gotten more Black voters than Hillary did
c) He probably would have run a smarter campaign than Hillary (that would not have been hard to do)
d) More sophisticated voter fraud (with Federal agencies “helping”)

All I can say is, Thank G-d for constitutional term limits.

Obama is correct. There are enough racist voters to have put him over the top once again.

"Go away and die, butt lick." Over the last 8 years, I thought I had heard everything Obama might be called... 'butt lick' is a new one!

He only got in the second time he ran via cheating at the ballot box. He had a full 8 years of looting the treasury and paying off his benefactors in the middle East. I hope when Trump gets in we get the full story on Obummer and Obummer has to flee for his life, back to the middle East or wherever he was spawned.

Pajama Boy in Chief’s legacy will be almost forgotten in a few short years after entrepreneurial Trump and his team steamroll the federal bureaucracy and mold it into a new, lean and responsive institution for modern America. On time and under budget...

Of COURSE he could’ve been re-elected.....

...because (unfortunately) there’s still a bunch of people in this country who are deluded, unthinking, and still believe the Sun rises and sets on the guy.

They are about to find out what a REAL President can do, and they’re going to be dragged kicking and screaming into a brighter future that they DON’T want.

Too bad.

And speaking of Constitutional term limits for the Presidency, that 8 year limit should apply to all politicians in every office in the land. And it may happen during Trump’s Presidency.

Obama also said he looked forward to leaving the White House, saying he’s going to take his wife, Wookie, on a “nice” vacation because “she deserves it.”

The freaking nerve of these freeloaders. Per the NY Post, the freeloaders are currently on 17 day BREAK in Hawaii, not a vacation .

1/20 can’t get here fast enough.

I agree.

Listening to Obama during this twilight of his administration, he comes across as a man less upset with Trump for rolling up his sleeves and winning as he is profoundly disgusted with the Clintons, the DNC, Podesta, DWS, and the rest of them for their corruption, arrogance, tone-deafness, and hubris in running a disastrously lazy campaign that will ensure everything he worked for this past eight years will have been for naught.

Not only that the gravy train is over, he led the dems into the worst predicament on the state and federal level in over a hundred years. And now the prospect of Trump referring 2 - 4 Supreme Court justices will have a lasting impact on the fight against the “living constitutionalists” (aka progressives). Not to mention the Trump economic boom will American lives not seen since the days of Ronald Reagan.

Trump ran against Obama’s policies and won. All along he argued that Hillary would be an Obama third term.

“He cried because the gravy train is over.”

No. He will command, at a minimum, $500K per speech. Maybe more in some of the Muslim Third World. The guy will be worth $1 billion within a decade — plenty of cash with which to do a lot of damage.
