My eldest normally gentle and ladylike kitty went on strike 2 years ago and will not allow me to groom her...and I have the scars to prove I tried..She has her second lion cut and the groomer found out quickly she had to sedate her to give her the hair cut.
I cannot imagine a kitty being this matted! Poor thing.
Poor baby!
> I hate to be a spoil sport but how typical of the libs to be utterly devastated at the mere thought of a cat weighed down by excess fur - now babies slaughtered, chopped up and sold for their body parts, well thats a mothers choice, not to mention, Planned Parenthoods (what a misnomer there) choice to add to their bottom line, but that poor cat - oh the humanity !
DRINK!
“Looks like the cat smokes ganja and plays the steel drums.”
Exactly! I say HOAX, FAKE NEWS on this one. It’s a short hair cat.
Somebody piled a bunch of dead squirrels on that poor cat.
Same here. My possibly-Maine Coon loves her lion cut.
It looks that way, doesn’t it?
My cat was overweight and needed the occasional “sanitary clip” when we took him to the vet.
My spoiled felines don’t know how good they have it. They got brushed with the “furminator” yesterday. I can’t imagine how that cat survived under all that matted fur. Poor thing.
That will all change. Trump to tbe WH.
We have a white cat, 17 years old, who stopped grooming a couple years ago. We keep him combed and clipped the best ee can but his hair gets pretty matted and knotted. No idea why he stopped grooming other than just old age.
I am with you. It does not look like something that could have happened “naturally”.
Yeah, same here.
We just had to send my daughter’s best kitty friend to Rainbow Bridge after 19 years on this Earth. He was a knotted, matted mess, and nothing we tried to do really ever rectified that. Vet said that his arthritis got to where he could no longer reach his own back.
(had to put him down due to kidney failure, not a ratty coat)
