Like many Atlantans, astronaut Shane Kimbrough plans to gather around the table and eat a traditional Thanksgiving meal. But this traditional meal certainly isn't typical.
Kimbroughalong with five other space crew membersare aboard the International Space Station (ISS), orbiting many miles away in space on Thanksgiving Day. I’ve heard that they only flush the toilet over North Korea.
I could try a thanksgiving MRE lol! That sounds like basically what they got
Mmmmm.....mmmmmm.....
That’s some fine eating there.
“Mom, can I have seconds on the foil?”

In space, no one can hear you scream for seconds.
I once sent a TRE (thanksgiving ready to eat) to a buddy deployed in Iraq. Turkey spam, pringles, dried cranberries, premade Jello. Etc all packed in Tyvek bags.
Green bean casserole is bad enough. The space version must be horrific.
That might be pretty good! Some sound terrible but I rarely encounter MREs I don’t like
I say we nuke the whole turkey from orbit. It’s the only way to be sure (it’s done).
Gotta add bacon as I did for the turkey today.
