A Minnesota mother has sued her 17-year-old daughter claiming she started undergoing a male to female gender transition without her permission.
Anmarie Calgaro filed a lawsuit on Wednesday against her daughter and several agencies and health-care providers claiming her parental rights had been infringed when they helped the teen facilitate the sex-reassignment treatment without her knowledge.
Calgaro - who refers to her child as a male - claims she was not consulted or informed in any way about the treatments before they started.

If I were her, the mother, I’d be suing the State of Minnesota for a “hold harmless” declaration from the state absolving her of any debt to the state (past or future) arising out of healthcare payments (nonpayments) etc. ensuing because of the ‘sex’ change. I’d do this because the state would eventually try in some manner to recoup the costs of this off her. I just know they’d do it. Just like Medicaid does and they’d go after the parent.
I’d sue them for that as a minimum to be on the safe side.
This whole issue is madness. Minors are not mature enough and should not be allowed to do irreversible treatment they may later regret.
Then there’s the whole thing about the poor results long term. The Johns Hopkins people were some of the first to do this stuff, and now basically say “don’t do it, the clinical outcomes aren’t good.”

A person who views themself as “mentally” a different gender than what biology dictates, has serious mental issues.
The title is misleading. She is suing the school district and some mexical professionals for not informing her of the medical treatment he is receiving.
At the very least, I hope we can morph this

Yes, I kinda took it at that but I always look for the do-gooders out there like the legal aid people and state and federal officials that “give” away entitlements (that’s what this boy got in the form of unauthorized medical treatements) eventually come back around when THEY get into money problems and the first thing they do is try to foist off some of their prior expenses off on somebody else. It’s the “deep pockets” theory.
ObamaCare don’t say much about the IRS charging your “healthcare assistance payments” as income, nor does Medicaid skip a beat on trying to get some of its expenditures back through the estates of those for whom they’ve expended resources. The state in this case could have let this boy/girl eventually end up on Medicaid as part of Obamacare and then Medicaid would damn sure go looking for somebody’s money. My guess is the mom. Don’t ever trust them.
In order to facilitate minors' having sex, the state has to allow contraception (sometimes permanent) and abortion (always irreversible). If the state allows, even promotes, these, then there's no logical reason not to facilitate "gender" or sex-"change."
Even to suggest it would imply a moral judgment that might even touch the untouchable: fornication.

Around 2013, I noticed some commentary that related back to the John Hopkins folks, in that you basically needed permanent mental health help for the rest of your life if you did the male-to-female ‘trick’. If you read through the piece, you got the impression that they needed to keep convincing you to pretend or think that you were 100 percent different (when you weren’t).
If this were merely our own money to do something stupid...like putting 40 tattoos on your body....I wouldn’t care. The minute that this is some public insurance deal or medicare deal...that’s everyone’s money.
The public school her child went to watched this all happen and even promoted it.
I understand that and I agree. She has a case as a parent to be rightfully pissed off - I agree. I’m just saying she also has a duty to protect herself from potential future debt caused by decisions of others who totally by passed her rights as a parent. What they have done is to potentially incur debt for her for something to which she never agreed.
A private school probably would have, as well. Everyone’s terrified of the transformers and their lawyers now.
That's because her child *is* male, and will remain so no matter how much he is mutilated or consumes hormones.
I hope she wins big against the various agencies who have been working to mutilate her son. There is absolutely no way a child should be subjected to such treatment without his parents' permission. A win would send a message to these liberal meddlers.
This insanity of pretending that gender is interchangeable, that it is possible to change from male to female and vice versa, exploded under Obama (along with the descent into crassness of much of culture). Hopefully, under Trump, it will fade away into the background noise again. Presidents set the culture, and under Obama, we have had the ugliest culture I've ever seen.
And yet, the school nurse can’t even dispense an aspirin.
