"Renee” recently started taking testosterone to help with the transformation from female to male. She will also undergo gender reassignment surgery within the month.
Harvey spoke with Dr. Jeffrey Steinberg with Fertility Institutes of Encino.
“I need to do this to be happy,” Renee says.
She is about to undergo an egg removal — her final act as a female.
Renee says she has felt like a girl since she was 5-years-old.
“The first moment of my conscious life, I would say,” she says.
She wants her identity hidden; doesn’t even want to say what country she came from.
Renee came here six months ago.
Her desire to be a parent, kept the surgery to become female on hold.
“This is extremely important to me,” she said, “Because it doesn’t make sense to become who I am, when I’m going to stay alone.”
Renee knew taking testosterone would shut down her ability to make eggs.
When she does decide to have a child, and be the baby’s father, she will have donated the egg.

That was a very confusing article. I think the author got confused as well. Medically, how is it possible for an egg to fertilize an egg. If she was going to be a male...oh good grief. I’m tired of trying to figure this sort of perversion out. She doesn’t need gender reassignment, she needs salvation through the blood of Christ.
I’m totally confused. What was she born as—a male or female? Because the article says “she’s” transitioning to male now.

Just reading article had me so confused...I couldn’t imagine LIVING like that.
They strip out the DNA from one egg and combine it with the DNA of another. You get the right number of chromosomes but who knows what insanity results
And who will be donating the sperm?

In the article it says she was born as a boy in a female’s body. Then it goes on to say, “Renee says she has felt like a girl since she was 5-years-old.”
Maybe that’s because she was already a girl.

Appears that there are some typos in the article. She was born a girl and now wants to be a boy and a “dad”.
She could have kept her ovaries, uterus etc., and had a baby normally.

The article kept mixing up the transgender’s gender. Renee was born female, is having her eggs harvested as she is now taking testosterone to transition to a male, but in the future she wants her female eggs to be fertilized (by a fully functional male) so she can become a “father”. What a load of codswallop! Pity her poor child in the future.
A mentally ill woman is freezing her eggs so she can still be a biological parent after having surgical mutilation to resemble a man.
That’s what sperm donation centers are increasingly for, with the majority of those donations now going to single woman and lesbians, not childless couples.
IVF is now the default choice when the husband is nearly sterile.
I wonder how much her “happiness” cost?
