I’d love to spend a couple of weeks in Singapore. I hear it’s very nice.

Singapore is great. It's all Chinese and is as squeaky clean as China is filthy dirty.
The curbs are almost two feet high. I was wondering what the deal was. Then it rained. The curbs were just the right height.
Business men took off their socks and shoes and rolled up their pants to get across a street.
The place DOES have fabulous food.

I hope you get there.

The video shows ONE WAY the Samsung phones explode. Most of the Samsung explosions/fires did NOT happen while pressure was being applied to them.

I spent two separate years in Korea many moons ago before they were as technologically advanced as they are now.

.......has pressure tested a fully charged Samsung Galaxy Note 7 ......

I wonder if pressure applied is equal to a fat person sitting on their all ready too thin phone, squashing the already too thin battery all over the insides of the phone. I won't be surprised if that is half of the problem with these phones catching on fire.

I'm sorry. Those years must not have been the most fun.
Koreans: wannabe Chinese. Well, not all.

Did you eat lots of kimchi?

I still do. We sometimes shop at H-Mart and dine in Korean restaurants. And no, my wife isn’t Korean, she’s Irish/Polish/Italian from Philly.

I was there a couple of days in 1974, on my way to Malaysia. It was very clean and everyone speaks English. Recommended.

I never did learn to like Korean food. However, I do LOVE Japanese food. I keep packets of miso soup JUST for emergencies. :o)

I'm confused. "Pressure tested" suggests higher, not lower than sea level pressure.

Which is it? Do people in Denver or around Death Valley need to worry?

I believe that the minimum pressure in airliners is the equivalent of 7000 feet altitude above sea level..

I bet the new iPhone 7 can’t double as a hand warmer like the Note 7. Feel the burn...
