The Clinton Global Crime Initiative Foundation is calling for donations for the hurricane that will be hitting Haiti in near future. The hurricane is expected to be at least a Cat 4 which will produce a huge amount of damage and suffering which will provide an excellent fund raising opportunity.
Bill and Chelsea are soliciting the donations for disaster relief in advance of the hurricane hitting the island to get a jump on the situation. Bill stated that the foundation had missed out on billions in donations in the last disaster to hit Haiti because the earthquake was unexpected. Other organizations, like the Red Cross and UN, cut into their expected take and drastically reduced the amount of aid the Foundation subsequently provided ($4,500).
The Foundation is mobilizing their staff of 300 Clinton friends and relatives to take to the airwaves to solicit donations. Major MSM sources will be providing free air time and graphic editing to display bloody and heartrending scenes from other disasters to assist in extracting donations from the general public in the US.
In related news, the UN will be sending in their crack Cholera abatement teams to prevent the expected epidemic from contaminated water. The UN Sec. General, Bang The Moon, was a bit miffed that the Clinton Foundation had not coordinated their fund raising efforts with them first.
