They wrote great songs with great riffs.
Paul Rodgers’ voice is not too shabby either
Well, I miss some of the notes in the lead parts but at least I’m havin’ fun. LOL! Hey, I’m “makin’ it my own” as the say.
Great band! Can’t Get Enough is still my favorite song, but also loved their later “Here Comes Trouble” album
Also “Shooting Star”
Love it!!
Dude has a great voice, just like the ‘Foreigner’ dude has a great voice.
Their lead guitarist always plays melodically and in time with the notes. It just flows together. They were really good in the day and I still listen to them to reminisce. Same with Journey who I listened to quite a bit. I've got Neal Schon's style pretty much nailed though I really like Joe Walsh who is a true master of his instrument. Hotel California was a masterpiece from start to finish. To play it right every musician in the band has to be pro-grade to make it sound right. Just the opening passage is a killer with three guitars playing separate but intricate and interlocking parts.
My Paul Rogers favorite.....with Free.....Dedicated to Paul Kossoff
