Their lead guitarist always plays melodically and in time with the notes. It just flows together. They were really good in the day and I still listen to them to reminisce. Same with Journey who I listened to quite a bit. I've got Neal Schon's style pretty much nailed though I really like Joe Walsh who is a true master of his instrument. Hotel California was a masterpiece from start to finish. To play it right every musician in the band has to be pro-grade to make it sound right. Just the opening passage is a killer with three guitars playing separate but intricate and interlocking parts.
