Hillary's "irredeemable" slur is un-Christian (vanity)

One quick observation: by labelling a large segment of Americans as "irredeemable," Hillary is denying the redeeming power of God through Jesus Christ. I am not a Christian scholar, but I think that one Christian tenet is that everyone, however vile, is redeemable through Salvation (which is loosely synonymous with redemption). (Please, someone correct me if I am wrong.) Beside the chilling tone of her remark, it strikes me as symptomatic of a Godless worldview. After all, one name for Jesus is "Christ the Redeemer."

Hillary seems oblivious to all of this.

TOPICS: Religion
KEYWORDS: irredeemable; redeemer; redemption; salvation

Don’t think it’s a doctrinal statement, more of an earthly reference to one’s redeeming qualities (or lack thereof). Also could mean redemption value, as in 5 cents for a coke bottle. Either way, she thinks we’re worthless. Hope she can find some sort of job, but it won’t be president.

Hillary believes in the redeeming power of Saul Alinsky.

All are redeemable.

Joh 17:8 For I have given unto them the words which thou gavest me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came out from thee, and they have believed that thou didst send me. Joh 17:9 I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine.

She has to have a come to Jesus moment and He'll take her under His wing. He did it for Paul,Nebuchadnezzar a host of others including me. Can't know a persons heart but we SHOULD see by their works, words and deeds. I don't know Hillary's heart but she doesn't sound very Christian at all as evidenced by her life.

No. You are wrong. Those whom Hillary condemns as irredeemable are, in fact, lost because they are saved by the blood of Christ. It is their very salvation that prevents them from supporting Hillary. They are saved and cannot lose their salvation. For democrats they are absolutely iredeemable. For Christians they are absolutely saved.

IMHO, this is exactly how hillary feels about most of Americans. We are the hard working, non-city dwelling, non-racist folks that live in “fly over country”. Remember that Katie Couric called us the great unwashed. hillary is nothing but a self appointed elitist, who thinks she is better than everyone else, PERIOD.

hillary was reading a prepared speech. She had no idea what she was reading. She is not at all a Christian. She is an atheist/marxist. She is using this newfound Christian “faith” of hers to get votes. She is nothing but a hypocrite.

Religion is just another useful prop tool in her campaign for power.

You’re more than welcome. One might compare Mike Pence to Hillary. I don’t know his inner heart but he sets a very different example in morals and values than her.

Yes,among many other things it's un-Christian.But one must admit that Hillary's never, ever,*ever* even pretended to be Christian (or to have a belief in God for that matter) so it might be wrong to criticize her on *that* score.

We should not be surprised at all that she would say something like this , after all this is the woman that said she was going to change what Christians believed , this is the same woman who approves the murder of the unborn children and the selling of their body parts .

Hillary believes in the redeeming power of Saul Alinsky.

And Alinsky dedicated his book to the devil.

It was a particularly low blow to anyone who understands Redemption in my opinion. Mr rB, who doesn’t pay much attention to politics, but is a man of deep faith, was deeply offended.

Whoever wrote that line for her knows nothing of Christianity, and, apparently she doesn’t either, because otherwise she would have realized it aw well.
